Good afternoon ladies and gentleman boys and girls. My name is nick and it's my privilege to be best man today. (Pause for quiet)

Thank you Jason for your kind words about are bridesmaids today, Lucy and Kate do indeed look stunning, and they have been a terrific support for steff over the past months. So on behalf of are bride I would like to thank you both for all you have done. The bridal party are great fun, and I know tonight will be a special celebration to honour are friends, and give them a great start to their lives as husband and Wife.

Some Years after his birth Steff first set eyes on Jason. It was Jason's dress sense and sense of style that made him stand out from the crowd and capture her eye. Who would have thought Wearing tracksuit bottoms, Leather shoes and a roll neck jumper would pull the birds, but his fashion sense, caviller approach to reckless alcohol abuse, and investment in crap cars to transport his new found love in certainly did the job. And so the courtship began that was destined to end with this fantastic celebration.

As I have got to know steff and Jason over the years, it is clear to me that they have a true love and the announcement of there engagement came as no surprise. Steffs sense of humour, Kindness, and her happy personality make her great to be around, Jason chose Mrs right and now that she is Mrs Jason Dean im sure that they are both very proud along with everybody here today.

When Jason asked me to be his best man, I thought it important to understand this role fully in order to it justice so a report on the stag is a must. We all travelled upto Leicester for an Alcohol fuelled night out to be finished up with the inevitable Strip joint and a Kebab. Now I can't talk about this for to long cos of my thought, Steff said shed cut it if I did. So I wont mention the fact that after 15 pints of Stella, Jason proceeded onto the dance floor of the strip joint Stripped to the waist and whilst handcuffed to the dancers pole he was whipped with his own belt whilst being told he was a naughty boy by two of the houses finest lookers I SAID LOOKERS. Now if you want to know what else happened you will have to see me at the bar?

However there are no tales to tell that would tarnish his reputation. Jason has indeed always been a man of his word. He is hard working yet fun, He is determined without being stubborn he is strong and soft at heart, and he is a man who is very much in love with the woman who has become his partner for life. Jason enjoys being one of the boys but his first priority is steff, and he has never shown her anything but respect loyalty and

Love. This is lucky because a girl as great as steff deserves the best and today she has marred him.

Individually are bride and groom are both great people but as a couple they are even better, and they will always bring out the best in each other. On this there special night I wish them every future happiness and I hope tonight leaves you both with wonderful memories as will for all your friends and family who are here to celebrate with you tonight. When I agreed to be the best man, I thought what a great honour, then I thought oh my god… I'm going to have to speak in front of 100’s of people. So I referred at a book on giving speeches and it suggested I imagine you all naked.
To be honest I can't stomach that thought on top of the amount of alcohol I've had so far, so now I'm imagining I'm the one who is naked. I hope I am only imagining it!
