Hello everybody my name is Sean, and i am one of J's best men.

Now i have gotta tell you i was, and still am really nervous about this speech, i do feel slightly comforted however knowing i am not the only person who is apprehensive here today, but then again she has just married J.

Before I start with the traditional charachter destruction of J I would like to say how beautiful E looks today. J you have found yourself a beautiful, caring, loving wife, E you have found J.

Now I have known J for over 20 years and he has always been special, i remember at primary school he needed two teachers so he could learn to use scissors and cut in a atraight line. Then we would go and play football and J would turn out in knee high rugby boots, kindly supplied by his dad i think. In 1989 he learned how to run in them, and he ran off all the way to boarding school, 5 years later he came back a changed man – well he could tie the boots himself now anyway.

J hasnt always been the high flier we see here today, in fact he told me that despite hard work and sweat at Mcdonalds he failed to gain any stars, they also wouldn't let him anywhere near the till because in his own words he was useless.

When J went to uni he was christened somewhat sarcastically with the nickname ‘turbo’ because of his speed and efficiency at work. personally i'm amazed he got here at all, let alone on time.

When J first told me he had proposed to his girlfriend whilst in Barbados i have to say I was shocked, but not as shocked as when I met E and realised she was actually an intelligent girl, I wasn't the only one who was shocked though my friend JV's response was – well you leave him for just one week.

More seriosly i would like to thank a few people.
The families of the bride and groom who have done a remarkable job setting up today. To the bridesmaids and our pageboy, who all look fantastic.A big thankyou to the other best man JV who organised a great last weekend away for J in Edingburgh, that reminds me S, is S about, you can take pictures in here all you want, nobody will mind mate. Thanks to E for marrying J (I still cant believe she did it) and lastly ( I heard that sigh) a toast to the bride and groom, they do seem a perfect match i'm sure you'll all agree so here's to a long, happy successful future.
