Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Victor, one of Tyler's buddies from the Marine Corps. We've shared many good and bad experiences together thanks to that gun club. Mostly bad now that I think of it. But it was great that I had someone level headed like Tyler in my corner. Especially in the sea of power tripping egomaniacs that is the Marine Corps. So I'm honoured to be the best man for one of the best guys I know.

Christine, in all seriousness, you look absolutely beautiful today. Tyler is clearly a very lucky man. The guy wouldn't shut up about you. I remember when our conversations at dinner suddenly shifted from the usual ‘Tyler talking about the dumb stuff he was installing into his Crown Victoria that we all pretended to care about’ to him to discussing his weekends with some girl from back home named Christine. Your husband is definitely one of the most dependable l guys I know. He's gone out of his way to help me out on field ops when other people were too busy on more than one occasion. He's as loyal as a friend gets and I know he will be a model husband.

If you ever doubt this, just pull out the dictionary and look up the word ‘model’. For those of you who don't have a dictionary to hand, I have the definition of the word model here as ‘a small miniature replica of the real thing’. (Emphasizing the word miniature…Tyler is on the shorter side.)

All joking aside, it's a very beautiful thing when someone finds their soulmate and gets to spend the rest of their life with them. Especially these days where people tend to just jump from meaningless relationship to meaningless relationship. And I wish them a long, prosperous, healthy marriage.
