Hello, I know that it’s not very traditional for the bride to make a speech but I just wanted to say a few words and thank everyone for coming today. I know it was difficult for some to get here but both Felix and I would like to say a special thank you and that we both appreciate it very much.

Now, Felix, when I started Facebook back in 2006, I never thought that I would meet my future husband via it! But there was something about you that just sparked something. And from then, I knew that you were special. After talking for a few months, we finally met up and went to dinner and such.

Before I knew it, we were dating, and I felt and still do feel, the happiest girl in the world. You make me feel so special and loved. We even visited your hometown of Stockholm, Sweden, for our first holiday together in 2008. I really appreciated how your family made me feel like part of the family.

I love you, Felix. And you have done so much for me and I will continue to love you forever.

And here everyone is today, thank you so much. I can’t even thank you all enough for what you have done for us both. The bridesmaids, my sisters Lesley and Sarah, Felix’s sisters Sarah, Annika, Darcy and Betheny. And my best friend, Chloe.

My parents, who have supported me through all the bad times and even embarrassing times. And who could forget my beautiful nephews and niece, Lucas, Sam and Scarlett? They made a lovely flower girl and ring bearers today.

Now, I will let you all go and enjoy the rest of our day but first, a toast to everyone who has helped us. Thank you all!
