hello all
I'll keep this short and sweet.
Making this speech is like being invited to go to bed with the Queen – It's a great honour but no-one wants to do it Good evening ladies and gentlemen, boy and girls , my name is John, the lucky father of the bride. I would like to thank you all for attending this wedding.
Both Joan and I would like to welcome my new son in law Richard into our family Also I would like to welcome David and Pauline into it too.
We are so happy that so many friends and relatives have turn up today.
Jemma has been a good daughter to Joan and I, although throughout the years of her growing up she has cost us a large fortune.
I know she will be a blessing to Richard and his family.
So, it gives me great pleasure to propose a toast to the newly weds.
Will you all please be upstanding and raise your glasses.
May your happiness be everlasting and any pain, be champagne – the best of health and happiness in the future.
