Hello: I read some of your speeches and found some of them very useful for writing my speech. Here is the speech that I used. It seemed to go very well. My Mother-in-law came over to me right after the speech and gave me a big kiss and to say it was very good. However she said: &quotGregg don''t let it go to your head&quot. A couple of more ladies used the speech as an excuse to come and kiss me as well. Thank you again for this site.

I found your site the most helpful of all. Most sites miss the point. We are all individuals, we all have our own personalities and mannerisms. Reading out some ones Else''s speech is not me and every one would know it. In my case not many fathers are gaining an eight year old daughter as well. I copied the Phrases that I liked from all of your sample speeches - cut and pasted them on to a work sheet. In a separate file, I pasted the main headings. Then selected phrases from the work sheet that suited the headings. I used about a fifth of my selected phrases. But I was very happy with the
