Being Father of the bride, it's my privilege to make the “first” speech of the afternoon…At least I thought it was my privilege…until I realized that I'm actually the warm up act ..for the two main speakers!!…Who are of course the Groom and the Best Man.

This is, of course my honour of walking a daughter down the aisle and magical moment because I felt like a King escorting his Princess into the next part of her life and a little sadness because she no longer will be my Princess, now being committed to another Man.

I am truly humble in being able to say that I have two wonderful daughters and seeing them here together gives me great pleasure and reinforces the deep sense of pride I already feel today

While preparing this speech for Jade I needed some inspiration….so I decided to look at a few photographs of the kids when they was younger…..I came across one beauties…..tears welled up in my eyes as I clicked through the album on the computer….one picture that stood out from the others..was a striking photograph of our precious daughter lying on a rug…in front of the fire….dribbling….gurgling….huge eyes…and pointing playfully at the camera lens…what a treasure she looked as she tried to stand on her little wobbly legs………..I will always remember her 18th Birthday…

Jade pursues life with determination and commitment with is a compliment to Debbie for all her hard work. 

We all have nothing but admiration especially her interview techniques for her Anne Summers position

Some would say however that she's about to face her biggest challenge of all…which brings me to the other part of this partnership.

What can we say about kyle…..some people welcome the prospect of a brain surgeon in to the family or 757 pilot or even a company Director…so Kyle your a manager for Motorcraft, then who have we to welcome into the family….A Spare Part

Knowing kyle you have known him all your life…He's such a friendly easy going fella…life and soul of any party, and a pleasure to be with…Kyle it is a huge honor,…and a pleasure to officially welcome you into our family.

Before I go much further I would like to ask you for a moment..We remember those who have meant so much to us from our respective families…but who sadly cannot be with us today. I am certain however that they're all here in spirit…and they would be very proud of the happy couple on this there special day.

So ladies and Gentlemen can I please ask you to remain seated..and join me now in raising your glasses..as I make the first toast of the day..To Absent Friends and Family..
