Ladies &amp gentlemen, I would like to welcome and thank you all for attending today for the marriage of Austin &amp Samantha, it's a long way to come and just proves how highly thought of they both are.

I personally organised the whole thing and am very pleased at the outcome its my speech – so no interruptions thank you well, okay some other people may have had a little involvement and I should congratulate them on such a fantastic choice of location and thank them for making this day so special.

One of the main roles of a father is to give his children the freedom to learn by their mistakes whilst secretly protecting them from all evils or boys as they are more commonly known we can only offer advice which is usually ignored and hope that they are sensible enough to come away from all walks of life without to much pain.
One of the main roles of the mother is to clear up after the arguments and ill advice that the father has just given without him feeling he has done any wrong and to point the child in the right direction.
I would like to thank Jane for doing a wonderful job with both our daughters and with me too

To be honest I couldn't be more proud than I am at this moment Samantha first told me that Austin had asked her out when she was sixteen and I was NOT happy – firstly the age difference – secondly if he parked his car like Ken we would never get near the house – thirdly She's just my little girl – Austin sensibly ignored my views and carried on seeing her – Samantha having listened to my comments also ignored me this may have been the point where Jane intervened
I am truly glad that in this instance I was wrong to be worried @ Austin has proved himself to be caring, loving, a complete match for Sam and a welcome addition to our family.

As you are both adults, I do not feel it my place to give advice, but as a father I now fully entrust Samantha to you, Austin, safe in the knowledge that she is with a man who both loves &amp respects her just as much as she loves &amp respects you.
I am deeply grateful to you for giving my little girl the joy and happiness,
life and love that she deserves – I only hope she makes you as happy and contended as her mother makes me.
May you be blessed with happiness that grows – love that deepens and peace that endures
I wish you fun and excitement for today
Hopes &amp dreams for tomorrow
Love &amp happiness forever

Ladies &amp gentlemen please stand, raise your glasses and drink a toast with me to the health &amp happiness of the bridge and groom
Samantha &amp Austin
Cheers

Lastly before I sit down @ to all those absent that would have liked to have been here I thank you for your thoughts &amp wishes.
Cheers Malcolm
