Good evening everyone. I'd like to thank you all for being here tonight to celebrate the Marriage of Susan and John.

I know some of you have travelled a long way to be here –  We're very happy that you could join us this evening.

I came up here this evening to welcome John to the family, but he's been part of the family for the past 17 years now. So I'll just make it official….John welcome to the family, I'm very proud of you both and all that you've accomplished together.

I would also like to offer a few words of advice:

Susan – If you want something from John, just ask for it. Don't forget he's a man and hints don't work.

John –

“women are meant to be loved and not understood”. And always remember to put the toilet seat down.

I'd like everyone to raise their glasses to congratulate the bride and groom and wish them all the best for a long and happy life together.
