Well, as most of you know I've been kinda really nervous about my speech, so I'm not going to go on for hours, no I'm gonna leave that to the best man!
On behalf of Vicky and myself I would like to thank you all for coming and sharing in this very special day with us, especially those of you who have travelled some distance to be here.
I know that this is meant to be our day, but of course it wouldn't be as special if it wasn't for all our friends and family being here with us, so again a big thank you.
I would like to thank Vicky's parents Michael & Daphne for today, without them none of this would of at all of been possible and I'm forever in your debt for this.
Also for all your support and kindness you have shown me and for welcoming me into your family. I just hope I am everything you would like in a son in law and I promise to take very special care of your lovely daughter.
We would also like to thank my parents for their love and support they have given us over the years and for putting up with all my annoying little ways. Most of which I probably still have!
I would also like to express our thanks to you both for all the hard work that went into making such an amazing cake. Lets just hope it tastes as good as it looks eh?
Not forgetting my step dad, Stephen, for always making us laugh, especially once you've had a drink or two!
Also a big thank you to everyone here today, for your cards, kind thoughts and wonderful presents, we look forward to finding a special place for them in our house when we get back from honeymoon.
To Vicky, my beautiful bride, thank you for marrying me after over 9 years together and making me the happiest man in the world. Your looking gorgeous today, as always, and you still take my breath away. I still cant believe that such a wonderful woman has chosen to marry me, I love you with all my heart, and then some, and I look forward to the many happy years ahead of us.
I would personally like to thank Adrian for agreeing to be my Best Man. I've known Adrian for over 16 hours now, (laugh) oh sorry I mean 16 years, and he has been and will continue to be a great friend and the best choice I could of made, but knowing him so well. I know that he will be extremely nervous about his speech right now, but let me tell you, not half as nervous as me!
Vicky and I would also like to thank Hannah & Jonathan for being our two witnesses, and Mark, our usher, for doing such a good job today and for being such a good friend over the past few years.
A final and big thank you goes to our bridesmaids. We would like to say how lovely you all looked today and thank you for doing such a wonderful job.
And not forgetting Nicola, for all the help she's given us organising today and for being such a good friend to us over all the years I've known her.
So, if you would all be upstanding and join me in a toast to the bridesmaids…
…to the bridesmaids.
And so, I think I've gone on for long enough, so it's almost time to hand you over to my Best Man. Adrian. But before I do sit down we have a few presents to hand out, but we'll be keeping hold of yours Adrian's until after your speech.
Once again I'd like to thank you all for coming today and I hope you all enjoy the rest of the evening.
Thank you.
