"On behalf of my wife and I…………………………..I would just like to say a few words.

I should tell you, I did have a really great speech planned, but now that I'm married, my wife has told me exactly what I'm going to say.

I'm not going to stand here and give you a list of lame jokes. I'm going to leave that to the best man.

You will notice that there is a camera on each table – please make use of them and take some great pictures.

(Thank You – Guests)
Firstly, I would like to thank you all for coming and making this a very special day. Thank you all for your cards and gifts. Liz and I are overwhelmed by your generosity and are delighted to see you all.

(Thank You – In Laws)
Mick and Chris – I would like to thank you on behalf of liz for all the love and help you have given her over the years.

I'd like to thank you on my own behalf for making her the kind, caring, beautiful and loving person I married today. And for always making me feel so welcome in your family.

Thank you both for this lovely reception. Mick, thank you for your kind words and I hope I can live up to both of your expectations.
Hand out presents!

(Thank You – Mum and Dad)
I also like to thank my own parents for putting up with me today and over the years. Thanks for your love and patience through my teenage years; which I'm sure I'll grow out of soon. Most of all, thank you for giving me such a wonderful start in life. Mum, thankykou for sending us on a great honeymoon to Mexico and dad, thankyou for your lovely gift.
Hand out presents!

(Thank You – Bride)
So on to my wife, I'm completely overwhelmed at how amazing she looks today, and can't believe just how privileged I am that she's chosen to be my wife.

Liz, you are my soulmate and the love of my life! I am a very fortunate man and I would just like to take this opportunity to say to you… How much I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you and jack……
I hope that every day will be as happy as today……………..just less expensive.

(Thank You – Best Man)
I was once told “Every Bridegroom needs a Best Man he can totally rely on, somebody who is organized, who can take charge and make the day run smoothly – a person who is very serious and responsible”

After reviewing the list of possible contenders for this prestigouas honor, I soon realized I would need more than 1 best man.

So firstly, thanks to Sam for being my right hand man in the church today – I am very proud that you are my brother!

And thanks to Murray as well for being there today as well as over the years, and of course helping me organise a memorable stag do – Drink up mate, you're up next.

Murray will be speaking to you in a couple of minutes about some of my darker secrets.
FACING THE CROWD)
I should perhaps just mention at this point that Murray suffers from a
rare medical condition which, makes him prone to EXAGERATION! He often
invents the most fanciful stories, which he sincerely believes to be true.
I hope that you will all bear this in mind when he stands up to speak in
a few moments.

(TURN TO Liz)
Honestly babe – none of its true.
Hand out presents to Murray and Sam!

(Thank You – Groomsman & Ushers)
I'd also like to thank Ali and Murray for being my ushers. I got told there is an unwritten wedding rule that no one is allowed to look more handsome than the groom. Thanks for sticking by it lads.
Hand out present to Ali!

(Thank You – Bridesmaids)
Finally, on behalf of Liz and I, I would like to thank Rachael, Ellie, Kate and Holly for being Bridesmaids and Jack for being a great pageboy. You've all been terrific and I'm sure you will all agree that they look fantastic.

I would therefore like to propose a toast so ladies and gentlemen, if you would please be upstanding………….to the Bridesmaids.

Presents to the bridesmaids!

Thank you all very much for coming, Cheers."
