Thank you, Kenny, for your kind words and I hope I'll live up to your
expectations as your Son-in-Law.

Now I'm not going to stand here and give you a load of stale old jokes, I'm going to leave that to the best man.

I would just like to thank everybody for coming today, especially those that have travelled some distance to be here. And thank you all for your kind thoughts and gifts.

Ever since I first started going out with Jo, not only have Kenny and Linda made me feel very welcome, but so have her whole family, and I am honoured to become part of that family.

Kenny and Linda asked if we would like to get married abroad, but we decided we would prefer to share our day with all of you. And I'm glad we did. Here's to all of you who are all very special people, picked by us both and may we all have a great day.

I would like to thank both sets of parents, as neither Jo nor I would be here today if it weren't for them.
I would like to thank you for all your love and support over the years. For all the advice you have given us.
If we can raise a family half as successfully as both Jo's and my parents have then we will be very happy.

I must also thank Kenny and Linda for bringing up such a beautiful and intelligent daughter. But due to the number of phone calls between Jo and her mum, BT would also like to thank you both.

So, to my wife, – you look absolutely beautiful. Thank you for everything you have done. You know everything about me and love me just the same. I have my faults, yet you still agreed to marry me. I am extremely lucky today to be the one to marry you – and I hope this is the start of many happy years together.

There are a couple of special thank you's I would like to say at this point, firstly my sister Sue, thank you for excellent job in making the bridesmaids dresses (PRESENT) and secondly, Joan thank you for the beautiful wedding cake and all the flower arrangements and button holes (PRESENT)

We would also like to thank Lucy, who made all the daytime invitations by hand. And Nicky for writing them out. Thanks to Iris and Val, who had such fun making the favours (whilst getting very pissed)

Jo and I would also like to thank Paul and Andrew for being ushers today.
We would also like to thank Daniel and Ryan for being pageboys.

I would like to thank Dave for agreeing to be my best man, and for bring Jo and I together in the first place, so Kenny, it's his fault!

A final and big thank you goes to our bridesmaids. Jessica, Claire, Laura, Samantha, Sara and Elle, we would like to say how lovely the bridesmaids look and thank them all for doing such a wonderful job today

Ladies and Gentlemen, please be upstanding. I would like to propose a toast . to the bridesmaids

Finally, I must say – isn't it funny how history repeats itself? A little over 20 years ago Jo's mum and dad were putting her to bed with a dummy – and now it's happening all over again!

Now it's the bit you've all been waiting for: the Best Man – no pressure then.
