Michelle:
I would like to say thank you to each of our guests for coming to our wedding today. All of you have shown James and I your love and support by coming here.
To my Maid of Honor Jennie, and Bridesmaids Shannon & Meghann, you all look absolutely beautiful today. I thank each one of you, for accepting to be my side on this very special day. You have done an absolutely amazing job of helping me throughout the wedding planning. All the surprises that you planned for me were very fun and I had a wonderful time with all of them.
To my parents Robert & Celia, thank you so much for all your love, guidance, help & support throughout my life. You have been the best parents a girl could wish for. Dad, you have always been a wonderful person, and I am proud to be your little girl well not so little anymore! Having you here to give me away today means more than words can describe. Mom, thank you for always being there when I needed you and putting up with me throughout all these years. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart, not only for everything you have done for me, but also for welcoming James into our family with open arms.
Today, as one chapter of my life closes, a new one begins. Our new journey begins as husband & wife, and is a time in our lives that we can start to fulfill our dreams. James, I thank you for coming into my life and for making it complete. I LOVE YOU!!

I would like to propose a toast to everyone here this evening.
“To love, to laughter and to Happiness!”
James:
Thanks Michelle. Honey, from our first moments together you melted my heart with your sweet words & here you go again. You've embraced me with all my faults & have given me the courage to reach farther than I could have dared without you. reach over & pull M close I know I have pretty long arms, but they're useless if I'm standing still. You give me a reason to keep moving up.
My new wife told me I should have a Best Man & two groomsmen. That's a good thing ‘cause I could only think of 3 that would fit the Bill, no pun intended. They each deserve special recognition for their part in this moment of our lives.
First & foremost I'd like to thank my dad & Best Man. For those of you who slept through the ceremony, they are the same person. Dad, I know I haven't always been accepting of your wisdom & guidance, but whenever I really needed help you were there- no questions asked. pregnant pause Who am I kidding? There were plenty of questions & I don't like questions, but I'm learning. I may be smart but I'm really slow. & you are smarter.
Stephen, Stephen, Stephen… glad you could make it. We are really quite alike so I'll save you the embarrassment & leave it at that. Don't worry you are catching up.
And of course I'd like to thank Richard for not kicking my ass for being the first to date his only sister. I really appreciate that.
We have a few guests that traveled quite some distance to be here with us tonight:
My aunt & uncle, Jean & Jim from Nanaimo. gesture & let them stand I've been to Nanaimo a few times & if you'd like to stay here, we will gladly take your place. LOVE your bars
The McKee Family. Kristie, Rob, Kyle & little Owen. I'm oh, this is so weird WE are so happy you could be here. I know it's a tedious drive from Prince George. Maybe that's why the Cougars couldn't beat the Giants. Good luck next year
Tien & Alice came all the way from Texas. Shey, Shey. I hope the buffet if sufficient. & Tien… that special bottle I gave to you is not for the ladies, so be careful
Robert, my new dad. After 12 hours in the air he is still awake… or is he?… Robert!? I know we will get along just fine & I promise to take care of your daughter & love her as much as you do.
Ryan??? I know you are here somewhere. That joker has a habit of turning up when you least expect it. He must be here somewhere. I'll count him a present. pretend to check him of my list Even if he is in Africa.
Finally, as most of you know, Michelle is one of two. A sister & a brother. Being a part of the Brady bunch, I can't imagine what that would be like. I began as one of four, then one of eight. My five sisters Lianne, Lana, Kristie, Jennie & Shannon have taken Michelle into their very exclusive club & are showing her what sisterhood is all about. You are all the best.
I'll give the mike back to Lianne now ‘cause I have no idea what comes next.
