My new wife Claire and Myself would like to Thank you all very much for sharing this Special day with us and for the many gifts and Cards we Have received

Unfortutionly there are some people that are not with us today My Dad,Mam and Brother David who passed away a few years ago,our thoughts are with them as they are every day.

I would like to thank the following people for all their Help

Claires Mum Audrey for the work she has done in arranging the flowers for today and the splendid job of decorating both function rooms and for helping keep Claire calm over the past few weeks

Helen for the Thankless Job of Wedding photographer…Hope you rembered to put the film in this time

David for reading the poem in the service

Anne and John for driving Claire here today

Anne and my oldest friend Derek for being our witnesses

Heidi and her Team at the Hotel …..you were right 10 pounds worth of sandwiches would not have been enough

Now they say that being a best man is like snogging the Queen Mother…Its a great honer but nobody wants to do it,well today I am lucky to have TWO best men,My Brother Arwyn who has done a wonderful job so far today and James for looking after the rings and keeping me calm,James…could you please help me again with disturbing these gifts (Flowers to Claires Mum,Helen Sue and Liz)

Now Claire I have beening researching over the past few months on how we can make this marriage work and came across a book called THE 1950 HOME ECONOMICS TEXTBOOK, THE GOOD WIVES GUIDE and have a few pointers for you…

When your husband returns from a hard days work have his dinner ready,plan ahead a night before,this is a way of letting him know you have been thinking about him and concerned about his needs,Prepare yourself take 15 mins to rest so you are refreshed when he arrivesput a ribbon in your hair,be a ittle gay and interesting for him,Try to encourage the children to be quite and happy to see him.Rember he is THE MASTER OF THE HOUSE and as such will always excise his will with fairness upon you have no right to question him,

But seriously we work well as a team and you understand me and my ways for example some men crawl into bed in the middle of the night smelling of drink or worst still smelling of other women but not me i get to bed at 1am smelling of tarmac my third love after you and James

Its funny how history repeats its self ,37 years ago tonight Claires Mum and Dad was putting her to bed with a dummy and what is happening tonight

I would like to propose two toasts
