Thank you so much for having a great site, especially when it comes to wedding speeches. As soon as I spotted these I looked no further. This is the second time I have been married, but this by no means makes it any easier when you have to put your feelings down on paper, and then deliver it to 100 people. Thank you Paul
On behalf of Heather and myself / I would like to thank you all for coming here today / and sharing our special day with us / Especially those who have travelled some distance to be here / including my best man Kelly who has come all the way from London / Amanda from Hayman Island / Paula from Sydney / and Trish from Melbourne / Unfortunately there are some people who cannot be with us today / Heather's Dad John who I wish I had been able to meet / my Mum / and other members and friends of both our families / Our thoughts are with them and we know that their thoughts are with us.
I would like to thank Heather's Mum Leslie / for the support and kindness she has shown us / and for welcoming me into her family / I hope I am everything you would like in a son in law / and I promise to take special care of your lovely daughter / Heather and I would also like to express our thanks to you / for the amazing wedding cake you have made for us.
We would also like to thank my Mum / for her support and love / and for the good wishes she has conveyed to Heather and myself for our future / We are sorry you could'nt make it down here Mum / but we trust you will enjoy the video / of our wedding that Paul and Susan are kindly making for us / with Nathan's camera / Also thank you very much Rachel and Jenny for doing the wedding photos.

A big thank you also to everyone here tonight / for your cards, kind thoughts and wonderful presents / We look forward to finding a special place / in our home for them on our return from honeymoon.
It was 11 o'clock one Friday night two years ago / that our good friend Sara rang me up at work / and asked me "would you like to meet a nice lady" ? / Of cause I said yes / so armed with a telephone number I rang Heather the next day / She lived 30 minutes out in the country / so we agreed to meet on my next day off which was Monday / After gaining directions from the neighbour / I arrived at Heather's at just after midday / She opened the door and my first thought was / WOW / A bunch of flowers exchanged hands and I was invited in / The afternoon went rather quickly / and around 4 o'clock Heather's children arrived home from school / Before I knew it, young Melanie had set up a game of connect 4 / and then proceeded to thrash the hell out of me / I was then invited to stay for dinner / and around ten o'clock I was driving home on cloud nine / A day out with the kids at the AMP show / and dinner at Sara's were soon to follow / and our relationship just blossomed from there / Twelve months to the day / I proposed to Heather in the back of a limo outside the restaurant next door / and twelve months further on my dream has come true.
My Darling / thank you for marrying me / and making me the happiest man in the world / You look so gorgeous / you take my breath away / I still cant believe that such a wonderful woman / has chosen to marry me / I love you with all my heart, and more / and look forward to the many happy years ahead of us.
I would now like to thank Kelly / for being not only my best man today / but also for being a great friend to me over the last six years / The fact that you have come half way round the world to be here today / typifies the sort of guy you are / and I just want you to know I really value your friendship / I wish you all the best when you return to the UK in January.
Heather and I would also like to thank our bridesmaids / Rose, Kelsi and Melanie / who all look stunning and truly beautiful today / and have made our day extra special / Rose, you are a wonderful friend / and have been a great support to Heather and her family over the last few years / It is a pleasure to have you as chief bridesmaid today.
Thanks also to the two young men on my right / Nick and Garrett / Thanks guys for your help today.
And we must not forget young Mathew / who did a spendid job as pageboy / Thank you Matty.
