Groom Speech Examples

I was Dreading this moment for soooo long! But it was ok. Actually nearly cried when I read the part about my Mum!  Also, about the speech itself, I spent so long on hitched reading the other speeches and they were a massive inspiration.  Hope mine will be the same to any other worried grooms! Mine's done! Time for yours!! It'll be ok...trust me!

I borrowed a few basic ideas from a few speeches on hitched.co.uk but mostley gave my own twist on 90% of my own speech.

Despite being very nervous before I stood up my speech went down a treat and once I started it just flowed! Everyone enjoyed the speech and many people told me it struck the right balance between humerous and serious without over doing it.   My best advice to any would-be-groom would be to prepare your speech well in advance then practice, practice and re-practice! On the day take it slow and steady, have a glass of water on standby, don't rush your words and try not to rely on your notes too much (if you've practiced and know what is coming you won't be looking at your notes and consequentl

I would say this speech is an "all rounder" and ticks all the boxes. It was done at a big formal wedding at Blenheim Palace.
