Hello, I found you website invaluable in constructing my wedding speech. Ive included this if you wouldn't mind putting it on your website for others to use.

Donny, thank you for your good wishes.

I must admit I felt a little aprehensive about speking today. I can assure you tht this is not the first time today that I've had to rise from a warm seat with a piece of paper in my hand.

WELCOME

I would like to start by welcoming all of the guests. We are surrouunded by friends and family that have been important during our lives. Some have travelled tens of thousands of miles to be here today.

It makes me the happiest man alive to say. Ladies and Gentlemen, Friends and Family, ”on behalf of my wife and I, I welcome you to our wedding and thank you sincerely for sharing this special day with us.

Thank you for raising you daughter to be the beautiful and warm soul that she is Donny, thank you for allowing me to marry your daughter Maureen a special thank you for arranging this day as you can imagine planning a wedding from the other side of the world is no easy feat.

MY PARENTS.

I would like to thank my parents for accepting Aileen into the family Aileen informs me that she always feels welcome in your home as I do in theirs.

Another person I really have to thank is my beautiful wife thank you for marrying me.

I first me Ails in an Irish Pub in Sydney nearly four years ago, whilst she was on holidays.

That was it for me, I knew then and there that she was the one.
Aileen on the other hand took some convincing.

Aileen had her flights booked and travelled from Sydney to Melbourne then to the Sunshine Coast, she asked me to follow and I did in my car travelling around two thousand miles.

Ails then left Australia and travelled home inviting me to come and see her.

I travelled there with that month.
When I returned home and saved like crazy for three months to be able to aford the ticket to go back. I came back here and finally conviced Ails to come back with me to Australia.

My persistance paid off!!

Since this time we have grown to be best mates and I finally convinced her to marry me.

Spliet, thank you for travelling from the other end of the earth to be here today to be my best man, and thank you Sarah spliets fiance for manipulating the rosters clerk to be able to attend with spliet.

SPLIET GIFT

I feel I need to mention however Spliet does suffer a rare medical condition which makes him prone to embeleshment. He often invents fanticiful stories which he honestly believes to be true.
I hope you keep this in mind when he stands up in a few moments

BRIDESMAID

Thank you Anne for attending to the bridesmaid duties. This is annes third time as a bridesmaid, she has been a little worried about that saying ”three times a bridesmaid never a bride”.and at one stage pulled out of being our bridesmaid because of it. I thank you Anne for overcomming you superstition and I must say you do look very nice today, almost as nice as the bride.

If I could propose a toast to Anne the bridesmaid.
