Wife and I

And so, for the very first time, I'd like to say, ‘On behalf of my Wife and I’
I would like to thank everybody for coming today and sharing our special day.
I know this is meant to be our day, but of course it wouldn't be as special if it wasn't for our family and friends being here with us, and I'm sure you'll all agree that we have found an ideal setting for this memorable occasion.

Thank you's
There are a few thank you's we would like to make today.

Firstly nikki and I would like to thank you for all the cards, kind thoughts and wonderful gifts you have all given us.

Kelly
I would also like to thank Kelly for doing such a wonderful job with the bridesmaids and nikki's hair today. I know it's your 3rd wedding this year Kelly but you have done a fantastic job today.

Mick and Paula
I would like to say a special thank-you to Mick and Paula for their generosity in helping with today's events.

I would also like to thank them for the kindness they have shown me from the first day we met.

Over the years they have given me some lovely gifts, Birthday presents and Christmas presents, but the gift of your daughter is one I will cherish forever.

Mum and Dad
I would like to say thank-you to my mum and dad, for everything they have given me during my life and for bringing me up the way they did.

They have also helped nikki and I, not only with the wedding, but through out the years and we couldn't have done half the things without them.

Cake
We would also like to thank my mum for doing such a fantastic job with the cake, and I'm sure you all agree, it looks absolutely brilliant.

I'd now like to say a big thanks to all the ushers for doing a sound job of ushering today.

And if I could ask Shaun to come up on behalf of the lads and collect a small gift.

Maz and Joni
I would now like to thank maz and joni for agreeing to be my best men.

Most of you won't know maz, but we've been close since we were very young lads, and in that time he has proven to be a wicked mate.

But of course all that could change in the next few minutes when HE starts speaking.

The Bridesmaids
Finally nikki and I would like to thank the bridesmaids for doing such a great job today, and I'm sure you'll all agree they look absolutely beautiful today in their bridesmaid dresses.

Before I sit down I'd like to finish by reading a quotation I came across a couple of days ago.

With that thought in mind, I'd just like to say you look absolutely stunning today nikki and I look forward to a wonderful married life together.
