Speech Type: Groom
Speech Creator: Tony Howard
Speech Date: oct 2004
Intro: Firstly I would like to thank Wilf for his comments and also a very big thank you to both Kay and Wilf for all they have done in helping to organise both Sarah and my wedding.

When it comes to in laws they really do rank top of the premier league of in-laws both of them.
Unlike Wilfs team that he supports, Wolves!!

I would also like to thank both my parents in having me, or other wise I could not be here today!!

Sarah and I would like to show our appreciation to both our mothers with these bouquets.

I would also on behalf of Sarah and myself thank all of you both family and friends in joining us both on this our big day, thank you all.

I don't know if I seem a little nervous to anyone whilst making this speech, but its not that I'm stood here talking to all of you, its just the fact that last time I was in front of a number of men here today they were all shooting me with paint balls I just hope I don't go through that again as I've still got some bruises even after two weeks, and some in places that I care not to mention.Oh and Ricky and John,if you planned to ruin my wedding night I'm afraid you failed, because un be knows to you both I was wearing a cricket box when we went paintballing for my stag do.

On behalf of Sarah and myself, we would like to say a big thank you to Sharon for doing all the hair for the bridesmaids and a big thank you to Bronwen for the beauty treatment, and the miracle that she has worked on me, for if I say so my self I'm looking pretty good today!!
And to my sister Jane for running the bridesmaids to ravenwood this morning.

For those of you that don't know me that well, on leaving school I joint the royal Navy and had the great pleasure in visiting Sarah's birthplace during my time the Falkland Islands.
When I was there the beauty of the scenery on the islands amazed me, but of course I think I have the most beautiful part of the Falklands, and that is you Sarah.
They say life is like a jigsaw, and every event is a piece, we'll in Sarah my jigsaw really is complete along with all five of our beautiful children.

Just one last thing before I finish, leading up to today Sarah and I had to have a number of meetings with Jacques the wedding co-ordinator he at Ravenwood Hall. During one meeting, Sarah asked, “Who does the tidying up the next morning?”
So Sarah has asked me to say to you all, please enjoy yourselves today and tonight, but please do not make to much mess for her to clear up tomorrow morning.
I would like to say thank you to my little brother Robert for being my bestman, and also for keeping all the lads very entertained the other week on my stag do,thanks Robert.
Also thank you to Jacques and all the staff here at Ravenwood Hall, thank you.

That just leaves me to mention how beautiful all the bridesmaids look today and both Sarah and me wish you all well in wearing your little angel necklaces that we got you all in appreciation in being our brides maids and doing us both so very proud.

So, ladies and gentlemen, would you please join both Sarah and me in toasting the bridesmaids………….the bridesmaids.

Thank you everybody.
