Wedding Speeches

Thank you for a really useful site. As best man it was naturally all the example speeches that I found the most helpful and I would like to offer mine for your directory to help future speakers. It will of course also be interesting to find out how it is rated:-

Please find attached my best mans speech from this month. The scenario is that there were two best men, and we took it in turns to speak, as illustrated. Cheers.

Dear Hitched. Find attached a copy of my Bestman speech with was delivered at my mates wedding 28th June 2003. I was honour to be Bestman, but didn't know how to start (or finish) my speech. I looked at a number of websites, however I found yours to be the best site for ideas by far. The speech went very well, which was handy as the wedding over running an hour and half. Even the evening guests heard my speech!!! I would like to thank you and all the other bestmen for sharing their speeches with me, to make my life easier. Regards, Carlo Barbieri.

Dear Hitched. Thanks for the help I received from your site in preparing "Dad's Speech" The day went marvellously, except that the Best Man had a panic attack and failed to do his bit - (he should have checked out your web site too!) I'm not terribly used to Public speaking but my bit seemed to go down well. The best tribute coming from a lady who said "Your speech was brilliant! and so funny - Did you know you were funny?"
