Wedding Speeches

Your site helped me a great deal - here's my speech given on stage at the Marriott Hotel, Swansea on 17th May 2002!

This speech was done by myself and Mark, and we were greatly helped by the speeches posted here, so I'd like to take the opportunity to help other best men by posting our speech here.

Hello Hitched Thanks so much for your site. I plagerised from tonnes of speeches on here so I thought I'd return the favour for future Best Men. This one went down a storm. Hi there, I found your site a fantastic reference point when I got married in July 2001. Therefore I have no problem if you want to use my speech (attached as a Word document). I was the GROOM !! The speech went down extrremely well and all the guests found it very funny and enjoyable to listen to. I used your example speeches as well as lots of material from other sites to put this one together. There was lots of laughter and it couldn't have been received any better. Hi guys, My speech went down a storm, with laughter all the way through it. I got handshakes all round and people were coming up to say what a great speech it was and if they could read it again. Hi folks, I made this speech on April 27th 2002 and it went down a treat, had just about the whole audience approach me during the evening to say what a good one it was. Hi, thought I would send you a copy of my speech. I found your website a priceless assett when composing my speech. The only advice I would give would be to try and keep your speech as original as possible as I have seen a lot of the same material used in the example speeches. secondly wait for your laughs...they will come and finally have a few beers beforehand it will steady your nerves and improve your confidence.
