Here is a copy of my speech. Many thanks for superb site. The example speeches were a godsend and the rest of the site has provided countless useful facts that helped the day go off perfectly. And remember.... to copy one person's work is plagiarism... to copy many is simply good research !!

Hi guys, When I discovered this site it was a lifeline. There are so many good speeches here that contain some very funny stuff and it makes writing your own much easier. So I'm sending here the speech that I came up with. It went off as I had dreamed, plenty of laughs and compliments afterwards. Please find attached my Best Man's speech, exactly as delivered on the day. Hope someone might find it of use. I found the examples of speeches invaluable on your website, thank you. Not only did I pick up some good one liners, but it also helped me to plan the structure and length of the speech. The speech was obviously well received judging by the many words of congratulations received afterwards during the evening reception, unless of course they were all just humouring me! Guys Thanks for a great website which really helped while I was writing the attached speech for my best mates wedding. As you will see most of the jokes were ruthlessly plagarised from other speeches on your site, but no one seemed to notice and the speech went down really well, producing plenty of positive comments (and drinks) from the assembled guests. Please feel free to post the speech on your site. The wedding was on 6 April 2002 in Derby.
