Speech given November 3rd 2001. Thanks for such a useful website - it made the speech writing job much easier!!

Dear sir/madam Please find attached my best man's speech which I done on the 27th October 2001. I got a great load of ideas from the other example speeches on your site and I hope someone will get some ideas from mine as it went down an absolute storm. Dear Sir/Madam, Please find attached a Best Man speech I wrote for one of the lads to deliver at a Wedding we all attended on November 3rd 2001 , Between Simon and Simone Sweeney. The Best Man was Russell O'Neill and I'm Marvin Nash who as I say , actually wrote it. The Wedding was held at the Marriott Country Club in Worsley , Manchester. Dear Hitched, Thanks for your brilliant site!! Gave me loads of ammo for a great speech. Even the nightime guests were telling me that they had heard how good my best mans speech was. A couple of tips for any future Best Men.... 1) Read the cards and messages out early on in your speech. If you wait until the end of the speech and all your jokes are done, the guests get bored and start talking among themselves. 2) When telling your jokes or anecdotes, wait for the laughter to die down before carrying on. Hi There Delivered the attached sppech at Simon and Helen's wedding on 22 September 2001. During runup to Big-Day was anxious that speech was not funny enough.... From the moment I started speaking I heard laughter...!!! This continued right till the end...???!!! I used your site to get an idea n structure and stole the last joke, which went down a storm!
