Wedding Speeches

I made this speech on the 18th of August at my cousin's wedding. It seemed to go down well, so I think it's only fair that I share it with others. I'd like to say a big thanks to all the people who contributed to the Hitched site, I would have been struggling without you. I was best man for my brother on his Aug.11 wedding. I've never ever played such a big role (..even a little role) in a wedding. This site gave me great guidance. I have never favoured the lime light, but when I finished doing my speech I was flying. The audience really is on your side... The following speech took about 7 mins to deliver and was recieved brilliantly, it was a nerve wracking experience but with the right amount of preparation and the ideas I got from your website it was an enjoyable one!! This speech went down really well at a wedding in Ireland at the weekend for 160 people. The nerves soon passed after the first laugh, and the wedding speeches were done before the meals, which definitely helped. Thanks for all the sample speeches, they proved invaluable Seb Kerr

Hi, I made this speech on the 28th July. I was best man at the wedding of my sister to my best mate. It went down very well and I had lots of pints bought for me afterwards - if thats any indication!
