Bride Speech Examples
Notes: My husband and I wanted to do a joint speech since he was really nervous about the prospect of doing one and since we'd be breaking many traditions on our wedding day anyway (we walked down the aisle together, for example).
Best Man Speech Examples
I found looking at example speeches really helpful! It let me know what are the standard things to include and then what extras I could include. In my speech i gave some gifts to the bride, i have seen this done a couple of times and think it helps to break up the speech.
Father of the Bride Speech Examples
I looked at a lot of the speeches here and although very good felt that some were just too long and that it is the Best Mans speech that is waiting to be heard.
As Father of the Bride I wanted to welcome every one, thank the neccessary people, something brief obout the couple and raise a toast to the both of them. Then it was the Grooms speech followed by the Best Man. Mine was two two and a half of minutes with a few ad libs. I think of ideal length and content.

It was cool. It went well in general. The only thing was that I kept losing my position on the written speech... should have spent more time memorising or practising looking up
