Father of the Bride Speech Examples
This was my second daughters wedding and this site helped me with the first speech, so I submitted that speech. The second speech was no easier to deliver but again this site helped. I found that by dividing a word document into 2 columns it allowed me to fold my speech in half and it was better than standing with a full A4 sheet of paper. If you know what you want to say, you will be able to fill in the gaps if you lose your place. The audience are on your side. Deep breath and speak clearly and even if you do not feel it, confidently. Hope this one helps!
Groom Speech Examples
Hitched really helped with some great ideas so I wanted to upload my speech with the hope of it helping someone else!
Best Man Speech Examples
My brother and I recently did a joint best man speech in Tuscany, Italy and I found Hitched extremly helpful, especially when we wrote ours on the eve of the wedding.
Father of the Bride Speech Examples
I advise any prospective father of the bride to start writing it early & go over it, as on the run up, there may be things you wish to add.
Best Man Speech Examples
*The bit about the wedding planner is obviously funnier when you know she is my wife!
This is the second time I have been best man and had to make a speech and it doesn't get any easier in terms of nervs. But just remember the crowd are on your side and are all in a great mood so you couldn't be speaking to a better crowd.
Maid of Honour Speech Examples
"Before I go any further, I just want to say, Suzie you look absolutely beautiful and Simon, you've never looked more handsome."
Father of the Bride Speech Examples
I was very nervous as I don't like standing up in front of people and having to talk - not my thing at all! Anyway I managed to get through it even though it was emotional at times and it went quite well thankfully!
I was congratulated by lots of family and friends saying they enjoyed it and I did well - which was pleasing - so thought it was worth putting on here as I did look at this website and it did help me construct my speech coherently and gave me a few ideas which I expanded on which helped me pull it off!
Thanks for the help!
Cheers.
