Hope it may be of value to others.

I wrote the following speach with the aid of some of your speaches, for which I will be eternally greatfull, as this was not only my daughters wedding, which every father want's to go so well, but it was my first public speach to such a large croud, it went so well that it suprised even me, I was overwhelmed by the response from such a great audiance, once again thank you for being there for people like me, thank you.

Having made good use of your site for constructing my own speech, I thought I'd let you have a copy of the finished article - which seemed to be fairly well received.

I made use of your excellent website to prepare parts of my Father of The Bride Speech and now attach a copy of my speech in the hope that it will assist other Fathers of the Bride.

Following is the Father of the Bridge speech, written and spoken by me, on the 27th August 2004, on the occasion of my daughters wedding. It took approximately 8 weeks to compose, write and fine tune. The duration of the speech was 10 minutes (not accounting for applause/laughter). I have used your example speeches as reference for my last two weddings and have found them absolutely essential help. For my most recent speech, I was giving my sister away and I hope the attached speech will be of benefit to someone. Please note, my sisters new husbands surname is ‘Burke’ which proved to be a useful anecdote! With the gaps and doing it slowly it lasted just over 5 mins (if that helps anyone)
