Dear Hitched, This is my best mans speech that I did for my mates wedding last saturday, it seemed to go down very well. I used your website, to help me write my speech and found it very helpful.

This is the speech I made, was for about 100 people though this included local head of The CBI, a Marketing Director for Britannic Assurance and a number of accomplished public speakers. All said was a great speech, even the bar staff were impressed. The reception was held at the local Gastro Pub( very posh) and even the owner said it was one of the better speaches heard- Got me frr drinks all night anyway Trick is not to get lashed before hand, I had 2 beers before hand from 1-6pm

I gave this speech on 19/07/03 and it went down really well, a lot of the structure I took from your sample speeches, I am now back to sort my own bridegroom speech for 18/09/04, hope this helps others as much as it helped me…….Have a drink before hand but know your limit, if you think you’re slurring you probably are
