I'm a professional speechwriter in my day job, but not for weddings. I spend my time writing for and coaching leaders in business, culture, sport, charities, government, and progressive politics.

My background is studying at Oxford and Cambridge, working in books, television, politics, and government.

How it works

I offer a range of services, from editing and coaching to handling everything that needs to be written for a wedding.

Some clients wish to have a quick edit or a speech from scratch. Others are attracted by a comprehensive service so they can rest easy, knowing that a professional is across all of the written materials and spoken words for the whole wedding.

There are always three speeches: the one you rehearse, the one you give, and the one you wish you’d given. Helping to close the gap between the three is my job.

Each speech starts with a blank page, and I'll coach you on everything from coming up with ideas to your delivery. I can take on as much of the writing as you need.

For your convenience, we can work entirely over the phone, via video call, and by email unless you’d like to meet. Every speech is written from scratch, with no copy-and-paste lines.
