We are a small traditional print studio based in Dorset, specialising in letterpress, run by paper and print enthusiasts Lucy Wardman and Annie Wythe. We are a female-led company striving to create premium, bespoke, handmade stationery. In a world bombarded with digital work and screens, we love to slow things down, using the printing process to create something tangible. There is beauty in every print, being unique and made with care. We can often be found running our fingers over paper and prints – and nothing beats a crisp deboss!
Throughout our time together at university, studying Visual Communication, we were both drawn to traditional craft and print methods and spent the majority of our time bookbinding and letterpress printing. Learning to hand-set type gave us an appreciation for typography, and we have been addicts ever since.
We love the history behind letterpress and the stories held by the equipment that we use. We want to share our passion with others and hope that letterpress printing will be valued and used for centuries to come!
