Martyn The Toastmaster is a professionally-trained Toastmaster, and member of the Circle of Toastmasters and Vice President of the Federation of Professional Toastmasters. He is based in Cheshire but works throughout the North West, Midlands and elsewhere on request. Martyn knows that each wedding is unique and will work hard to ensure your celebration feels like your own. He likes to meet with you and your partner ahead of time and discuss the details of your special day. He will be your personal representative at your ceremony, enhance your event and take your stress away.

Services Offered

On the big day, Martyn, the Toastmaster, will arrive early at your venue to ensure all is going to plan. His goal is for you, your family, and your guests to feel welcome and relaxed on your wedding day. Ahead of the celebration, he invites you to call for a complimentary quote.

Martyn, Martyn, Martyn!!

Wow!! What a Toastmaster and more! I could not have asked for a better person to run my daughter and SiL special day . Everything went perfect with Martyn in charge. He is so warm and friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble for him. We cannot recommend Martyn enough. If you are thinking of having a toastmaster, do not look any further.

An absolute delight!

Martyn was wonderful to work with from start to finish. He responded promptly to emails, calls, arrived promptly and worked well with all the other vendors.
Our guests were from 6 different countries yet Martyn was able to communicate excellently with them. They all loved him 😂

He made the transitions between venues and activities seamless and organized. He’s highly professional and handled unforeseen circumstances well.

If you’re not sure if you should have a toastmaster at your wedding definitely have one. And I highly recommend Martyn.

Most Amazing Toastmaster

Our decision to have Martyn as Toastmaster at our daughters wedding last week was one of the best we made.

Martyn’s professionalism, charm & kindness was second to none. He ensured with skill & experience that the day went so smoothly.
Literally nothing was too much trouble, Martyn organised our guests but in a way that they didn’t feel ushered or rushed

Excellent toastmaster

As soon as we booked Martyn for our wedding nothing was too much trouble! He replies really quickly to emails and is so friendly and professional. On the lead up to the wedding he was on hand for anything we needed and made the whole process so easy. On the day he arrived at the venue early and made sure everything was in place. Guests commented on how lovely he was, and the day wouldn’t have ran as smooth without him. Would highly recommend Martyn again. Massive thank you to him, Sam & Pete,

Professional and experienced toastmaster

Martyn was an excellent toastmaster and he embraced various different cultures at our wedding and used his experience and professionalism to deliver the perfect service for us on our special day. I can’t recommend Martyn enough as a toastmaster, he went above and beyond our expectations.

Truly fantastic!

Excellent worth every penny!

Are you wondering if having a toastmaster is worth it? Let me tell you hiring Martyn was one of the best decisions we made. Not only did he take all the stress away from us, he worked with our suppliers and venue and ensured everything ran smoothly.

Martyn worked closely with our photographer and videographer to ensure all our special moments were captured.

He set the tone of the day! He was lovely and approachable and extremely professional!

Martyn ensure our daughter's wedding day was simply perfect.

Martyn is a joy!

We hired Martyn as our Toastmaster for our wedding in September 2022, it was something we thought would add to the day and make it run smoothly. We were right! Martyn was amazing, so knowledgeable and thorough. He was charismatic and everyone loved him.

Amazing toastmaster

Fantastic Toastmaster

We would like to thank Martyn for all of his help in ensuring that our special day ran smoothly and for his help and advice in the weeks leading up to it. He always responds promptly to any communications. We found Martyn to be very professional and well organised, but also very friendly, warm and charismatic, both towards ourselves and with our guests. Martyn went above and beyond our expectations and we also recieved positive comments about Martyn from a number of our guests. We would not hesitate to recommend Martyn to anyone who is thinking of booking a Toastmaster for their wedding.

Total Professional, Highly Recommended

What a lovely man Martyn is. He was incredibly professional from the initial booking right through to leaving us late in the evening once he had ensured we had everything we needed.

Martyns presence was much appreciated, his experience effortlessly shone through in his work and he dealt with all elements of the timeline of our day with the utmost grace and efficiency.

We found Martyn very responsive and very professional. He listened to us and carried out our wishes. Whatever we asked him was not too much trouble. Even honouring not wearing the colour red as a tribute to my late father which we really appreciated. We really enjoyed having Martyn as part of our day and I hope we gave him a few giggles through out the day. A lovely genius man who is very reliable.

Exemplary Service

Despite having to re-schedule our wedding due to COVID-19, Martyn's service to this point has been nothing but exemplary. A new date has now been arranged and we were keen for Martyn to be involved so it was great that he was able to simply transfer all the initial arrangements to the new date. Martyn is very thorough in his preparation, nothing is too much trouble, and he's very accessible and the lines of communication are always open. It's reassuring to be able to download all the detail in your minds to Martyn knowing that he'll take care of the finer details to ensure that everything runs smoothly. We look forward to enjoying our special day... at the second attempt, with Martyn running the show!
