I am an experienced toastmaster and have helped many couples make the most of their big day.

You will have invested a great deal of time, energy, and money in planning your big day. You deserve to relax and enjoy the day itself now! I will take on the responsibilities you would need to do or your best man and ushers. I will always uphold the high standards you would expect of an experienced toastmaster and maintain the professional image of the man in red tails! I will be present and immediately available for all those tiny little things that might need attention, from more wine to a stitch in time from the sewing kit I always have with me!

I will meet with you well before the day to discuss what your specific plans are and how you would like me to help with that. If you are not sure whether you would like to have a toastmaster then I am happy to meet with you and discuss over a coffee or just simply chat over the telephone.

Amongst the many matters I can attend to are:

• Advice on wedding etiquette,
• On the day, I will be there in good time and will stay until after the speeches, the first dance, or by negotiation with you,
• Receive and welcome your guests,
• Assist the photographer,
• Organise the receiving line,
• Ensure all your guests are seated in time for the wedding breakfast,
• Announce the entrance of the bride and bridegroom and, if requested, escort them to their places,
• Direct the ceremony of the cutting of the wedding cake,
• Introduce the speakers
• Co-ordinate the distribution of presents as required,
• Arrange the circulation of the guest book,
• At the completion of the wedding breakfast, liaise with staff in the preparation of the evening party.

This is by no means an exhaustive list, and I will work with you to make your day unique and memorable.
