The Distinguished Toast Master ( Steve ) was employed to help at our wedding at Rockbeare Manor, Devon on 16th July 2023. I can honestly say Steve was worth his weight in gold and an absolute gem, he helped our special day go without a hitch. Nothing was too much trouble, Steve was happy to help with anything that we needed and took away any worries that i had about the day. His role is multi faceted and too many roles to list, he's the Perfect Gent and gets things done in a quiet and calm manner, sometimes i forgot that he was even there [ apart from the speeches and toast of course }. All our guest loved him and knew that if they had any questions that Steve was the Go To man. I would highly recommend Steve and would like to Thank him for all his hard work that helped make our day perfect.

We hired Steve ( The Distinguished Toastmaster) to help run and Co-ordinate our Renewal of vows celebration on Friday 22nd December 2023.
From start to finish Steve was professional, helped the day itself run to time but most importantly friendly and approachable.

Steve met us a few weeks before our day to get all the details and plans, then calmly and expertly managed the day, leaving us to enjoy our special wedding without so much as a question from various suppliers who be helped to keep on track. Although we had a wedding coordinator with our venue, Steve’s experience and presence reassured us hugely, knowing that if anything unexpected happened he would deal with it for us.
Timings went perfectly to plan and we had the best wedding day, exactly as we’d imagined. Steve is highly recommended to ensure a smooth wedding day.

Wow, what can I say about Steve!! He absolutely rescued us from the chaos of wedding planning and especially me, as my wife to be was deployed for a lot of the lead up to the wedding.

We are not detail orientated at all, and despite the fact it must have felt like plaiting fog for him at times, he managed to take us in hand and figure out exactly what we needed.

There was only one aspect of our day that needed to go right - a surprise I had planned for my wife. Steve and the venue were the only ones that knew... he worked with the team to make sure nobody let the surprise slip. He ensured that they stayed hidden and coordinated the ultimate reveal with Emma at the Rockpool.

Throughout the day, Steve was like a ninja! I never noticed him (despite his very smart red jacket) yet he was on hand wherever and whenever he was needed.

Music needed playing on the sound system - Steve was on it

Guests needed coraling down to the beach and back - Steve was there clambering around the dunes and ensuring noone was lost.

Crying Brides / guests ? - Steve had an endless supply of tissues which has greatly entertained us watching the video back!!

Announcements to be made? vendors to paid in cash? time management to keep an eye on? Steve was our guy.

The absolute highlight of Steve's input for us was the sword action. The pics say it all... we are only sorry that despite the hundreds of photos these were the only ones he appears in - says a lot about just how discrete Steve is.

Our wedding would certainly not have run as smoothly and I would not have been as relaxed without his input. Even though he is in demand he was always free for a video chat or to smooth my feathers when I was getting distressed.

Thankyou so much Steve, we are just gutted we won't need to use you again for another wedding!

Steve was the last piece of the jigsaw that made the day run smoothly. I didn’t even know that we needed him until a month before, but very glad he had some availability!! Steve’s involvement helped immensely and took the pressure off us so we could enjoy the day

Steve was part of our 'package' our venue (the Two Bridges Hotel) offered as we had our ceremony there. I'm wholly sure that without Steve there, we would have had many hiccups and time clashes on our day.

Cue a few weeks before the wedding and Steve reached out, and filled in soooo many gaps we were worried over - timings for the day, escorting to and from, who would sit what side/where for the ceremony, cake slicing etc. As soon as I interacted with Steve he knew what to offer to make the day run as smoothly as possible. He even sent a sixpence along to our address ahead of the wedding for the old 'Something borrowed, something new' rhyme. It was a lovely personal touch.

On the actual wedding day, Steve was great. He helped me (the bride) and bridesmaids get down the aisle in one piece and continued to help herd guests (it's like herding cats!) To be at the right place for the right time - for group photos he was especially helpful. He even offered a cake cutting sword, which was a lovely addition to the day. He was dressed superbly, was kind and approachable throughout the day, and we genuinely would have struggled without him.
