Your wedding should be one of the best days of your life. It will take a lot of time and money to organise and (hopefully) you’ll only ever have one of them, so it’s important to get it right. However, no matter how much you prepare for your big day things which you didn’t expect can go wrong.

The manager of your venue could be having a bad day and let everything overrun. Your DJ or photographer may get stuck in traffic or a Wedding Toastmaster that you’ve hired could completely misjudge the style of your wedding and create an uncomfortable vibe for you and your guests.

I will make sure you have the wedding that you want. I’ll have a detailed consultation with you beforehand to get completely clear on how you want things to run, my varied experience which spans event management and business means I can run things behind the scene and deal with any emergencies if and when they arise.

Most importantly I’ll customize my style depending on what would best suit you and your wedding, from straight/traditional through to fun/quirky. My main aim with every client is always making sure they get the Wedding Toastmaster that service they’re looking.

Organisation

I've hosted over 800 events, including a mix of weddings and corporate work. Before I became a Toastmaster I ran an events management company, where I oversaw the management of 300+ large scale events. I'll make your wedding run, exactly how you want it to run. If any emergencies arise I'll find effective and creative solutions to put everything back on track.

Back-up Plans

Despite all of the best planning in the world things can still go wrong at your wedding. The most common problem is suppliers fail to arrive because of serious injury, traffic or because they’ve received another more lucrative booking at last minute.

As a Toastmaster when you’re presented with a situation like this you have a choice. You can either accept the situation at hand or you can find a solution. Traditionally Toastmasters don’t offer support in these situations either because they feel that it’s not within their job description or that they don’t have the training to deal with it.

I know how to and I will deal with any and all emergencies that arise at your wedding. I ran an events management company for 4 years during which I oversaw the management of a range of events from small private parties to large corporate award functions. With this experience I’ll do everything I can to resolve difficult situations if they arise.

Entertainment

If your schedule runs ahead of time due to short speeches or quick eaters then you may be presented with long gaps in your schedule where nothing is planned to take place. You might also have guests who haven’t met each other before and an icebreaker of some sort is desperately needed. I can help.

At your request I’m more than happy to entertain wedding guests by playing a quick game. Games can not only entertain your guests but they can bring people together through team work and laughter. I’m happy to play a traditional game such as a quiz, something more risky such as Russian Egg Roulette or I’m happy to play a full-blown game show with your guests as part of your evening entertainment.
