History
We take our name from the Mary Webb novel Gone to Earth which is largely based around Bromlow Callow, where we are situated. The inn has an interesting history, as well as being mentioned in the Mary Webb novel it also hosted many famous music nights in the 70's including Ronnie Lane, Eric Clapton and Rod Stewart.
Facilities
We have a great bar with an open fire. We have individually designed hotel rooms, all are ensuite and come with tv's, towels, tea and coffee making facilities. We have incredible views of the Shropshire Hills which make the perfect Wedding Photography backdrops. A stunning hillside & indoor ceremony area. Quirky and individual decor, rustic, vintage and country themed.
Weddings
We love to host wedding parties in either vintage or traditional style.
