We had the perfect wedding weekend at Mar Lodge. The Mar Lodge team were incredible and so helpful every step of the way in planning the wedding and especially amazing on the weekend itself. We loved that Mar Lodge is so flexible as a wedding venue to enable you to create your own unique wedding. We absolutely loved the fact we had the whole venue for the weekend and all our friends could stay on the estate. It really felt like there were no hidden costs as the venue comes with all the furniture etc that you need and even has its own store of wedding decorations for anyone to use which was fantastic. We would definitely recommend.

We had a small reception in the Eden Room at Durn House in June. The room looked lovely and the owners/staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We hae drinks, canapes and a meal, all of which were great. Finished the evening off downstairs in the game room.

We had the most amazing day. A magical garden ceremony, a fantastic meal and the an evening of fun and dancing. We didn't want for anything the whole day. The team were exceptional and the venue look so beautiful. Thank you all for marking it the most magical day xxx

Had the most amazing wedding day at the sandman the staff were so friendly, the hotel is stunning and the food is lovely.

From our picturesque wedding on the banks of the River Dee, followed by live music and drinks on the lawn, served from the ‘Fox Box’, to the wedding reception and Sunday BBQ in Cobbleheugh - Banchory Lodge exceeded our expectations and made our wedding weekend so very special.

The moment we saw this venue we knew this was the place we wanted for our wedding. And it lived up to all our dreams. Helen couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a small ceremony with family in the dining room around the fire followed by high tea in the orangery. Karaoke in the snooker room and drinks by the fires made our wedding weekend perfect. Everyone is still speaking about the beautiful place and will continue to do so.

What can we say, thank you, thank you, thank you. My husband and I would like to take the time to thank you both very much for all you did for us in the run up to and day of our wedding. I can't believe it was three weeks ago already! It truly was the most amazing day of our lives. We really couldn't have wished for anything more, even the weather was on our side. Glen Tanar Ballroom and grounds was the perfect place to have our wedding. Once our photos are online I will send you the details so that you can have a look at the great memories you both helped create. We honestly can't thank you enough.

Thank you for providing the most beautiful, enchanting venue and supporting Callum & Hannah-Mary with their wedding last Saturday. The castle and grounds looked splendid. You certainly have put in a lot of work restoring the building. The chandelier in the Drawing Room was sparkling! The setting of the marquee across the pond was perfect both day and night. It was just breathtaking looking back towards the castle as evening came. Please thank all of your staff involved in the run up to the big day and on the day itself. For us it was truly a very memorable and magical wedding which all our guests enjoyed thoroughly. Best wishes for further wedding advertures,
