For a tailor-made wedding day, look no further than Albert’s Restaurant and Bar, located in Swinton, England. This Manchester venue is the perfect place to hold your momentous occasion. It has bright, modern and stylish event spaces, a private dining area, and gorgeous outdoor terraces.

Facilities and Capacity

Albert's Restaurant and Bar is fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies, allowing you to spend your whole day here. The Ellesmere Room, the venue’s largest event space, can accommodate up to 120 for a seated wedding breakfast or 180 for your evening reception. The design-led room boasts its own dedicated bar, a private entrance and large windows that bathe the floors in natural light. The Harold Riley Room is also available for more intimate celebrations with up to 40 people.

Services Offered

Albert's Restaurant and Bar's excellent events team will be on hand to help throughout your wedding plans and preparations. Drawing upon a wealth of experience, they will help you design every detail of the big day. In addition, we can provide finishing touches to make your day perfect, such as chair covers and sashes, bespoke linen, lighting, Chiavari chairs and a wedding postbox. And of course, delicious catering is provided in-house. The restaurant offers a choice of mouth-watering, gourmet menus, all of which have been designed by the chefs and draw their inspiration from the seasons. With such fresh and fine ingredients, every dish is guaranteed to be divine.

We are next door to 'Hello Hotel' and special discounted rates on hotel rooms are offered to the wedding couple and their wedding guests!

Amazing from start to finish

Couldn’t fault Alberts at all!
They were amazing from the initial meeting, checking in and organising catch up days when best for me, sometimes late evening.
The day went with so much ease! I didn’t have to worry or organise anything myself which was amazing.

The best part is that we didn’t really have to factor an events coordinator as you pretty much get one included in the prices!

Definitely reccomended!!

Amazing!!!

Alice and the team we’re fab and i can’t recommend them enough. They were super responsive and we’re always happy to help. Our food was amazing, the venue was clean and everything went according to plan thanks to the team.

Amazing venue!

We had our wedding reception at Albert’s in September 2023 and couldn’t recommend it highly enough! Alice was there from the beginning to meet and discuss all the details for the day and I couldn’t fault her communication throughout.
I did a lot of the signage / table decor myself but was able to drop it all off the night before and fresh flowers on the day. Alice coordinated everything on the day (including decor from suppliers) and the venue set all the room and tables up perfectly, nothing was too much trouble. We paid for the drinks tokens which we had for guests instead of wedding favours and opted for the BBQ menu with extra sides - everyone commented how amazing the food was! We ran out of some of the vegetarian options but it was really quickly rectified by the team.
Alberts was such good value compared to other venues I had looked at in Manchester! Would definitely recommend, thank you so much to Alice & the team 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We loved our evening reception at Albert's Worsley

I contacted Albert's about an evening reception shortly after setting the date and they responded quickly and they had the day we wanted available (we had a short 9 month engagement so lucky to find a place with availability). We were invited for a look around of the rooms and a quick chat re menus and what options they provide in-house (chair styles, linens etc.). Everything was accommodated for and we were able to organise the day exactly as we liked. They honoured our menu choices even when the new seasonal menu was changed just before our reception. Everyone enjoyed their three course meal and I was very impressed with the service we had by the server on the night. I had a lovely experience and if I could do it again I would still pick Albert's. The location of the hotel was a big hit with our guests too!

We honestly had the most amazing fabulous time

We honestly had the most amazing fabulous time everything flowed with perfection.
From the Friday night eating in the restaurant to the Sunday morning having breakfast we couldn’t have wished for a better weekend .

The staff was more than attentive and helpful with any requests we had. Karen and Sarah on the day were perfect!

You and the staff were always contactable and very accommodating and very flexible to meet our needs!

You made our wedding celebrations a very special day to remember always!

The planning of our day was fantastic!

Hi Karen,
The planning of our day was fantastic to all the planning before hand to the day its self and the help and support we had.

Everyone loved alberts and commented on how much a stunning venue it was. The room was perfect and decorated stunning just as I described it to be. You are amazing, thank-you very much.

Karen we appreciate everything you did for the ladies in the morning and the planning of the arrival of us entering . The girls all commented about how great you were and supportive.

Sophie especially thought Chris was amazing for everything he did for us on the night to make our night go smoothly he was always their seeing if we were okay and cant thank him enough.

Everyone commented on the the food being amazing.
The waiters that was operating and running our room where so helpful and they deserve a lot of credit.

Well what can I say!! We had an amazing time, Albert's did us proud as you did yourself Karen, from start to finish.

The feed back from family and friends was 'Wow what a venue' so many people said it was the best wedding reception they have ever been to we will 100% recommend Albert's for a party venue, it was fabulous, you was all fabulous.

I'm sure we will see you around when we pop in for food and drinks at some point. A million thank you's again Karen.

Good morning Karen,
Feedback from the both of us:

Truly amazing, from the moment we sat down to talk about our options for for our wedding to the day after after our wedding.

Karen was well organised went over and above board making sure our day was perfect, ensuring I (bride) was looked after from the moment I checked in to the moment I left the venue.
Karen ensured all the finer details were confirmed in good time and understood we wanted for our day. Couldn't ask for a better event planner, and is a credit to Albert's.

Day staff - for our wedding lunch, each staff member made sure everyone was happy and any special requests for our fussy eaters where perfect, even to the point in helping us with taking our centre pieces upstairs without hesitation. The food was absolutely amazing as normal - every guest was very impressed

Night staff - From the moment we walked upstairs we was looked after, James looked after the drinks and was always smiling he was amazing. The bar staff was fast, efficient and always happy to help. The pate boards and deli boards where amazing as well - amazing value

Clearing up - I don't know how they did it but they did, they packed everything up which we was very thankful for a perfect end to a perfect day

Every person involved in our day made it perfect and unforgettable - we are looking to book for birthdays and all our events with you from now on.

It was perfect and exactly what we imagined!

Hi Karen,
Thank you to yourself and you team for everything you did in planning and executing our wedding day – it was perfect and exactly what we imagined! Every step of the way you and your team have gone beyond what we expected.

Everyone has glowingly commented on how pretty the room was, how nice the food was (including the fussy grandparents) and how friendly the staff were.

Extending the hotel check out helped us immensely so thank you once again for doing so.

Can you please pass on our gratitude to the team that were working on the day.

Thank you for making our day so special

Hi Karen
O my god thank you so much – myself, Bryan and all our guests had the most amazing day.
 
From the planning to the actual day I could not have asked for anything better, you helped and advised me on things I was unsure of and made me feel assured the day would be brilliant.
 
From arriving to leaving the day went so well food absolutely delicious and have had lots of messages from friends and family saying the venue and food was lovely, all staff were amazing from bar staff waitresses and waiters to the planning team and thank you Karen for all your help and advise.
 
I would most definitely recommend you to friends – Once again thank you for making our day so special the memories will stay with us for ever.

We absolutely loved our reception

We absolutely loved our reception. It was perfect. We can't fault any of it from the organising to the staff on the day.
Nathan was wonderful and very helpful throughout the night.
The feedback of the buffett was brilliant.   So a massive thank you to you, Nathan and all the staff.

Is our wedding cake still there? I've been working nights since so not had chance to pop in. I'll come pick it up if it is
