Aldby Park is a marquee wedding venue situated in the small and secluded village of Buttercrambe, England. Nestled within the rolling North Yorkshire countryside, this site provides an idyllic backdrop for celebrations of all sizes and styles. The hidden gem has been voted one of Yorkshire's most scenic venues in The Yorkshire Post.
Facilities and Capacity
Aldby Park consists of a Georgian-listed family home that was built in 1726 and extensive grounds on which you can host your celebration. The lawns include a tranquil 'lion cage' where you can hold your outdoor blessing and an adjoining, enclosed reception lawn. This is a great place for your drinks reception before your guests make their way to the main lawn for your wedding breakfast. You will have full access to the gardens through the festivities, where you can enjoy stunning views of the River Derwent and beyond. A dry moat encircles the lawns and adds to the fairy tale setting. If you prefer a church ceremony, St. Johns Church of England is a short stroll away.
Services Offered
Rental of Aldby Park comes with a mobile bar hire from Louisianna's Mobile Bars, which is licensed until 1 am. Amplified music can also be played until this time. The bar was nominated as the 'best special touch' in The Wedding Industry Awards in 2017 and 2018. Garden games can also be played on the lawns. The venue is located in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, which is only a short commute from Stamford Bridge, York, Malton and Pocklington.
