Our award-winning two-acre estate is surrounded by the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park. Blending historic charm with modern elegance, our Century & Woodland Barns serve as the ideal backdrop for your romantic civil ceremony and reception.

A state-of-the-art mezzanine has been added to our traditional Century Barn, with a viewing area that's ideal for photo opportunities. Opening to the new Woodland Barn, this event space can host up to 155 guests, depending on your desired setup and floor plan. Your day, your way!

Oak Lodge is suitable for more intimate wedding receptions and doubles as a sociable reception area. Alfriston Gardens' stunning grounds provide a beautiful botanical backdrop for photos following your ceremony, with indoor options should the British weather prevail.

Accommodation

Offering luxury accommodation for up to 58 of your guests, Alfriston Gardens is one of only a limited number of UK wedding venues able to offer exclusive-use lodging for this many visitors.

Our accommodation centrepiece is the stunning Lavender Lodge. It provides a serene and tranquil getaway where your wedding party can enjoy the preparations for your big day. This standalone cottage offers privacy and a relaxed setting for restorative overnight stays.

Nestled in our meadow garden, nine en-suite shepherd huts provide your guests an authentic glamping experience, perfectly blending outdoor adventures with luxurious comforts.

Alternative lodging is available in our modern Vine Hotel with ten beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms. Breakfast is served in Oak Lodge, a multi-functional space where your friends and family can stay in the five bedrooms upstairs and gather to reflect on the celebrations.
