In early June of 2019, my now-wife and I held our marriage ceremony and reception at the Andaz London Liverpool Street. It was a fabulous day with every detail neatly managed by the equally fabulous wedding event manager, Hannah Jeal, and her wonderful team.

The Andaz offers splendid and unique facilities and a dedicated staff who seamlessly execute their jobs. The only let down or break in this rigorously well-managed day was when Hannah was finally able to leave the hotel at the end of her very long day. It was only then that the solid behind-the-scenes organisation of our wedding went a bit off the rails. The manager left in charge dropped the ball when it came to our cake cutting which was unnecessarily confused and disorganised without the perceptive, polished oversight of Ms Jeal.

Still, it was a small matter in the scheme of things. We loved our wedding and our reception. And we're extremely grateful to the Andaz for their tasteful, interesting, and gorgeous facilities and a crackerjack, friendly staff of wedding event managers and their teams. Thanks again to Andaz and especially to Hannah Jeal for tireless enthusiasm, kindness, and resourcefulness.

The Andaz hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding we have no regrets. From the moment we arrived it was everything we hoped for and more. Champagne on arrival, greeted by the friendly concierge. The bridal suite was fantastic, spacious, modern and immaculate. Madeleine, the events team and all the staff were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. On the morning of the wedding the room service breakfast was delicious. Myself, my mum and my nine bridesmaids all got ready together and there was plenty of space. The day went very smoothly, and we felt that we didn't need to think about a thing. We fell in love with the hotel from the first moment we saw it, the mix of contemporary and traditional style really suited our tastes. We loved the 1901 Ballroom so much that we chose to have both the ceremony and wedding breakfast in there and it was just stunning. The gallery worked perfectly for the champagne reception. Our guests mingled and there was plenty of space for group photos on the upper level. There are so many places inside and outside the venue for great photos. The food was excellent and all our guests raved about it. This hotel is a perfect venue for a London Wedding.

Everything on the day was perfect, so thank you! I know it was a crazy wedding with regards to timings, so thank you for your patience, dedication and hard work. Please also pass on my regards and gratitude to your team.

The atrium and Great Eastern rooms looked beautiful, all staff were lovely and extremely accommodating for us and our guests. My parents and our bridesmaid/master of ceremonies, Hannah Jean, were impressed with how helpful and professional everyone was especially since they were most involved in helping set up on the day of our wedding.

The food was excellent and all our guests loved the canapes and their meals - some feedback received from guests were "best food ever" and "perfect combination of Asian and British". Both of us loved our meals and felt there was plenty of very high quality food and drink! A small thing we requested - for asparagus instead of fennel was missed with the stone bass dish, but this really didn't matter and we don't think guests noticed!

DJ (Mark) and music was amazing, he really took our requests into account! It was exactly what we wanted and the dance floor was packed for almost the whole night. Several of our guests commented that it was the most fun they'd ever had on a dance floor at a wedding!

Thanks for allowing us to bring our wedding cake and snacks from our church ceremony too - guests really appreciated having snacks available following the meal since lots of people had munchies when dancing.

Also, photobooth and chill our areas were great and it was lovely to be able to customise these.

Thank you – our impression is that everything went very well, you certainly knew what you were doing.
Your staff were so very professional. I do apologise (jokingly) for one of our friends (therefore not a 20 something) trying to persuade them unsuccessfully, to come out from behind the bar. I have a memory that when they wouldn’t she sat on the bar and danced for them. Oh dear.
Apart from that everyone was very impressed with the standard of food and your staff. Our gratitude to Antonio and Sammy for calm and professional excellence and Giorgio for creating that beautiful display urn with the cocktail which announced what kind of evening our guests should expect (excepting the one who danced on the bar) – now that’s true attention to detail.

Paul & I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the rest of the Andaz team for the amazing service that everyone gave us on Saturday. From our point of view it was a huge success, all of our guests were really impressed & we all had a great time (we paid for it the following day with hangovers from hell).
