I cannot recommend Apton Hall as a wedding venue enough. My husband and I got married here on Saturday 7th September and it felt like a fairy-tale dream.

The venue itself is located in the quaint countryside of Rochford and it was the perfect venue to host our family and friends. The interior decoration throughout is really thought-out and elegant. I feel that something that stands out about this venue is that you really can do exactly what you want with it and each wedding there looks completely unique. The layout makes a lot of sense for hosting, the barn-style wooden beams are beautiful and stylish, the courtyard allows for this central feel to the wedding, the accommodation is extremely well designed, contemporary and comfortable. It has a rustic yet modern feel to it. We had an outdoor wedding which we were so happy about.

The staff- honestly, the service was on another level. We worked with Hayley to plan the event and she was superb, super efficient, professional, easy to contact, offered great flexible advice and has so much experience. A really friendly and kind person. We had Emma and Lily managing our event on the day and it felt so lovely to have these great people around us. They were really calm, super kind and extremely professional. There was no question they couldn't answer and they ensured our day went smoothly. The staff serving us and the guests throughout the day were flawless. We had so many compliments from our guests as to how attentive they were, topping up drinks, going the extra mile to call people by their names and our close friends, who have extensive dietary requirements and allergies felt super relaxed because they said that the servers would acknowledge, that their meal was, for example, 'gluten free' as they were setting the meal down, so our friends said that they didn't feel that they needed to double check anything. My friends said they had never experienced that before!

They really think of everything- like sending up a plate of your wedding cake up to the honeymoon suite for the end of the night and supporting you to be in the right place at the right time in a lovely calm way throughout the day. Everything was incredibly organised and we felt like we could truly relax because we were in such good hands.

We will forever be grateful to the staff at Apton Hall for making our wedding day so memorable, stress-free and beautiful.

Apton Hall was on our list of venues in the area to scope out for our wedding. After the first visit we cancelled all our other viewings and booked in with them straight away!

First of all the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and so well maintained. The layout works really well and they had a great range of options for where to hold the ceremony. Having on site accommodation was also a massive plus, especially with family coming from overseas that we wanted to be able to stay close by. The new prep room for the bridal party was fantastic as was the 'granary' area for the gents to get ready. Comfortable and fitted out with everything we needed. We had a band and a DJ and both were able to fit in with no issues (and were well looked after by the venue!). We had outdoor games set up including a plastic cricket set on the big lawn, which was a real hit with the guests.

Then the staff - wow were they amazing! Hayley was our main point of contact throughout the whole process and she was so responsive and helpful - it really helped to de-stress the planning. On the rare occasion that Hayley wasn't available there was always someone else on hand who was able to help. The planning process leading up to the day was great and really helped to ensure that all our ideas could be brought to life. On the day all of the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive. We had lots of compliments from our guests about how great they all were too. Big shout out to Emma and Josh, and everyone working there on the day, who helped make it so special.

The food was impeccable - we had a tasting evening ahead of the wedding date which was a lot of fun and well managed, and all of the food on the day was delicious. We had a colourful variety of allergies and dietary requirements that were handled flawlessly.

We had so much fun on our wedding day - it was actually the perfect day and using Apton Hall as a venue was a massive part of that. Thank you so much to all of the team for making it so wonderful ❤️

From the very first meeting with Hayley we instantly we had found our perfect wedding venue (one of the reasons being that it was dog friendly too!)

Hayley and Lauren have been so helpful throughout the planning process and were always on hand to answer any queries we had – big or small. I am so grateful for the two of them for all of their help and advice!

On the day itself Emma looked after us as our coordinator – she is so calming and made me feel slightly more at ease (I was very nervous that morning!).

The waiting staff were so friendly, all of our guests mentioned that the food is the best meal they've ever had at a wedding! We had lots of compliments on the bar staff too – they were very quick at serving and professional.

As soon as we arrived at the venue we knew it was for us! We was instantly greeted by staff and they were superhelpful all the way until our big day.
The venue was perfect and had everything you could want. I think the most useful thing for us was feeling safe in the staff's hands to know that everything was being taken care of so we did'nt need to worry on the wedding day. Honestly we are so happy we picked Apton Hall and would reccomend to everyone. Thank you to everyone there who made our day perfect!

We got married at apton hall in June and we could not recommend them enough, from viewing the venue for the first time to the wedding day all of the team was unbelievable, everyone was so helpful and kind. The venue speaks for its self it is absolutely stunning and unique. The staff are amazing, the whole team was fantastic on the day. A huge thank you to Hayley, Lauren, Josh, Emma and the whole team you were amazing. We have had so many compliments about the day and so many compliments about how yummy the food was. The day was truly magical, everything we had dreamed of and all of the team helped make this happen. From arriving in the morning to leaving the next morning all of the team was there making sure the day ran smoothly and kept us relaxed through the whole. A huge thank you again 🥰

Our day went perfectly, the team did so much for us both in the planning stages, behind the scenes, and on the day to make sure the day was everything we dreamed the day would be. The food here is also amazing - a big hit with everyone.

Would highly highly recommend Apton Hall as a Wedding Venue. We loved it from the moment we saw it, they were great with communication back and forth throughout our engagement. On the wedding day the whole staff were absolutely incredible! From helping me get into my dress to organising the day and making sure we had everything. Honestly made our day truly magical & go very smoothly. Couldn’t recommend them more!

I knew the moment I visited Apton Hall that it was going to be special, but I honestly cannot put into words just how incredible the place and all the staff are there! They made what would have been a perfect day, utterly magical. Endless emails from me were answered quickly, Specific requests were made possible, quite literally nothing was too much trouble. And not only that, but every single person we encountered were happy, excited and seemed to genuinely care about giving us the best day of our lives. And they did not disappoint. My husband and I had the best day of our lives. And it was made all the better by the staff at Apton Hall. I have to give a special thanks to Lauren, for being so patient and utterly amazing! Rebecca and Josh on the day were superb! My whole family felt like they were a part of the family too! And nothing was too much trouble! I didn't have a care in the world!! I wasn't worried if things went a bit wrong, but I needn't have worried anyway, as they made sure thay not only we got what we wanted, but the whole thing ran as smoothly as it could. We really did have the perfect day and I would not change a single thing! Thank you isn't enough to convey how grateful we are for providing us with the best memories that will last us our lifetime! But thank you none the less! Also breakfast with the family the following morning, was an extra special touch! Perfection, just perfection!

Wow, where do I begin?!

The grounds and the venue of Apton Hall are simply STUNNING! There’s nothing like it. The layout means that everything can be accessed without going outside in the case of bad weather, but with good weather you have vast amounts of beautiful spaces for glorious photos. The layout also means that guests have plenty of spaces to mingle, dance, or catch up on a drink in throughout the day.

The rooms available for guests were absolutely luxurious, and all the guests who stayed not only commented on how well decorated the rooms were, but also how comfortable they were. It really was a luxury stay for all of them!

The food was above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. HUGE portion sizes, the most exquisite flavours, and the chef was just so ahead of our requests that even those with allergies had personal touches to their dishes that made them feel cared for.

Along with the chef, Lauren and Josh went above and beyond the expectation of their jobs to make sure that the day (and EVERYTHING leading up to it) went smoothly and offered me a lot of confidence and reassurance that they would have me and my husband at the heart of all they did. When we thought something might go wrong with some people pulling out last minute, Josh was ahead of the game and seamlessly adjusted table layouts. When we couldn’t figure out something the night before, Lauren was at the end of the phone within minutes. All members of the team on the day were exceptional, whether it was making sure we had drinks flowing, or people knew where to be and when, I can’t thank them enough for their attentiveness and attention to detail.

Overall, I couldn’t recommend the venue and the whole team enough. If you want the reassurance of a dedicated and caring team, and the most spectacular venue with simply stunning backdrops and a flexible space, THIS is the place to be ❤️

Honestly, I cannot thank Apton Hall enough for helping to create the most magical day. Wright from meeting Lauren when we first came to view the venue, the Service has been 2nd to none. I appreciate that this venue has weddings nearly every day, however when you are there, you truly believe your wedding is the only one that matters and the venue is all yours. Emma and Josh were superb hosts on the actual day. I made us feel so comfortable. And incredible venue, and incredibly well run team, thank you so much for helping us to create the best day of our lives.
