My wife and I cannot recommend Brenda highly enough. She was fantastic through every stage of the process. Fascadail was a perfect venue for our small and intimate wedding, which is what we always wanted. It’s a beautiful location, with fantastic views of loch long and the cobbler. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and perfect for newlyweds. In the morning, we were served with a lovely breakfast, special shout out for Brenda’s American pancakes! It is also pet friendly which meant our wee dog could join us for the day. Overall, really happy. FIVE STARS *****

We booked our wedding in July 2022 at Lodge on Loch Lomond and it was the only venue we would get married at, as we got engaged at the hotel too. We went the one of their Wedding Open Day events and booked it for July 2020, however Covid put a stop to that and the hotel were fab and flexible for changing dates and organising things in such a difficult time. The one bonus on waiting an extra 2 years was the hotel had a bit of a make over and looked even better than before. The wedding team were always on hand for our questions and bookings. The only miss hap on the day was the rooms for the grooms parents amd sister were not ready on the day of the wedding so had to change in other guest rooms. The event itself, the staff from David the Master Of Ceremonies (brilliant) to the bar staff and chefs making the food they were all 10/10. We had planned for a summer beach wedding, however after 2 postponments and finally get married, it was the wettest day in July that year typical! Plan B was to do it in the Glen suite where dinner would be and it was gorgeous inside and well done to the staff for making it look amazing last minute. Obviously being on the banks of Loch Lomond is perfect for photos and romance so the location is perfect too.

Great venue, stunning location and amazing hosts. Liz and Billy went above and beyond in making our day everything and more than what we could have hoped for. If you want an intimate wedding then The Shore House is a truly fantastic venue, we were so lucky to find them and can't thank them enough for helping us make our day as special as it was.

I just wanted to take the time to thank you and Jamie for allowing us to use your space for our special day. Although we had a rough start to our day yesterday it still ended up being a wonder and special day for us and a big part of that is due to you and Jamie. Your home and space was a perfect place for Fergus and I to start our new life together and everything we could have imagined it to be. It will forever be a day we will never forget and cherish for the rest of our lives. Now it being the next day, I wish I could just go back to yesterday and relive it all because it went by so fast.

Where to start here I’m not sure ! Maybe with five stars ***** I cannot recommend Carrick Castle Estate enough. The lodge is out of this world beautiful. When you stay there it’s like a dream. We stayed 4 nights over our wedding with our bridal party and used the houses around for our families. Hannah and Darius are so warm and welcoming that it really puts you at ease. Not only is the Lodge beautiful but it comes with the best hosts! There was nothing better than sitting out the back balcony that over looks the mountains on the morning of my wedding, having a few glasses of fizz watching the birds of prey. The beauty of scottish wilderness and wildlife right there while you are in the comfort of the Luxury lodge. The whole process of wedding planning was very easy and hannah was helpful in every way she could be. There were so many options for us on the day! We had such a great time and the weather was great so we got our outdoor wedding! Darius even took us both up the hill in the tank to get some cool photos. Legend! We already can’t wait to go back up to the lodge. Thank you to the Carrick Castle Team for not only the best day but the best 4 days of my life! The new Mrs Jones xxx

My husband and I were looking for a location to get married near to where I grew up and with the opportunity for plenty of outdoor photographs. We also wanted to be near to accommodation for our guests, most of who stayed either in Lochgoilhead or Inveraray for the weekend (we provided coach transport to and from the venue on the day). Ardkinglas ticked all the boxes, staff were incredibly helpful, there was plenty of flexibility to tailor the wedding to what we wanted and the building had a stately, yet relaxed family home feel to it. We opted for a Humanist ceremony inside the house and then a marquee on the lawn, provided by tents and events. We used Bumbles catering, and our bar was stocked with local Fyne Ales. Derek Prescott was not only our photographer but also a very close family friend, he captured the day perfectly. We were married in early April 2011 and we were very lucky with the weather, it felt like a summer day, which is unusual for Argyll in April! My husband and I first met through whitewater kayaking and we used this theme throughout our wedding day, we even managed to go for a canoe paddle on the fish pond next to Ardkinglas House, this made for some very special wedding photos! Overall it was a fabulous and exclusive venue, I would certainly recommend Ardkinglas House to other brides and grooms to be.

We had the exclusive use of Knockderry from Friday to Sunday first weekend in May. The whole wedding was made a tremendous success by the setting of the hotel to the standard of accommodation and reception to the quality of the food. Above all , all of the staff were great lead by Beth, Murdo and Kerrie and made our wedding a most wonderful occasion
