… nothing less but so much more so than we'd ever dreamed.

Firstly, Ashridge House as a setting is incomparable to anywhere else in the UK. Nowhere tops it. The moment we took the long drive through the estate and the tree line broke, revealing the beauty and grandeur of the house, we knew we'd found our wedding venue. Breathtaking.

However, it's not until you venture inside that the real magic begins. The drive into the venue has you sold but what you find inside, including the team, makes you fall in love. Let's start with the areas of the house. The venue has so many incredible spaces for your special day to unfold in - You and your guests never grow tired of any one of them as you're always kept guessing about which beautiful room you'll be moved into next for the latest chapter of the day's story. The Main Hall holds the most special ceremony backdrop in the UK bar none and as bride entrances go, nowhere could match the grand staircase with what was a fairytale entrance to the ceremony. The Old Library, Loggia and Italian Gardens offer the most idyllic setting for guests to enjoy the drinks reception - We've been to many weddings and have never witnessed so many people taking photo's owing to the beauty of the surroundings. The Lady Marian Alford was a showstopper for the wedding breakfast, you could see our guests constantly looking around the room taking in all of the details of the spectacular finishes throughout. Our Bridal & Groom parties enjoyed a private hire of both the Acres Restaurant and the Vault - Evidence Room Bar the night before the wedding and these offer two more beautiful areas that you can enjoy as enhancements to your plans - Highly, highly recommend both. The Brownlow Lodges are quite something, truly remarkable as accommodation goes and provide the perfect ending to your day. We'll come back to the team later but next up, the food...

... World class. Our guests could not stop complimenting the quality from the canapés to the wedding breakfast right the way through to the world food buffet. They were not left hungry at any moment and they continuously told us how excellent it was throughout the day.

Now for the team... Saving the best till last. Specifically - Laura, Libby & Jamie (our outstanding co-ordinator who deserves his own paragraph). In the early stages of booking, Laura was first class. She made us feel at ease at what can be a stressful point of your journey when there feels like a never-ending list of things to do. She answered every question we had and sent us the most special package when we confirmed our booking. From there, we were introduced to our co-ordinator Jamie but more on him later. We met Libby closer to the wedding day taking place and were blown away by her above and beyond efforts from there onwards. She moved mountains on our special day to ensure everything fell into place in the way we envisaged it. From helping us hang suits on hangers to setting up the Main Hall for the ceremony and everything in between, our day would not have been perfect without her.

And now for the star of the show - Jamie. Wow. He far exceeded any expectations we had and went well beyond his job brief on the journey towards our wedding day. We feel eternally grateful we were appointed with someone who holds so much passion towards wedding planning but also has a special talent for producing fairytale weddings. We are of course biased towards our day but we needn't be, our guests showered us with compliments both during and after the day telling us it was the most special wedding they've ever been to. Genuinely, it would not have been possible without Jamie. The biggest compliment we can pay him is that if you're reading this and thinking of booking Ashridge House for your wedding, make a special request to have him as your co-ordinator. You won't regret it, there's no one who can do what he does. This paragraph could become its own book on why this is true but what makes Jamie stand out is who he is as a person. The way he connects with you as a Bride & Groom, alongside the whole wedding party, is like nothing we've ever seen before. If there was one person from Ashridge House everyone of our guests remember, for all the right reasons, it's him.

Our day was a fairytale, like those stories you read about and watch in the movies, and we wish we could rewind time to do it all again. If we could, we'd pick Ashridge House every single time. Thank you so much for making our vision for a dream wedding day come true. We can't wait to see our professional photo's and full length feature film so we can relive our day over and over again.

We got married at Ashridge on September this year, and our wedding was magical! The level of professionalism, attention to detail and warmth was present from beginning to end!! Our guests were all amazed and everyone had a great time! Highly recommend!

My now husband and I chose Ashridge as it is very close to our hearts: we live 10mins away and we got engaged on the estate. It was a no-brainer for us, not only our local wedding venue but also because it's the most beautiful house with stunning gardens, and the wedding team is incredible. We were sold when we were shown around the venue by the wonderful wedding executive Annabel, and by chance our anniversary date was newly available. So we knew it was meant to be. The team at Ashridge are the most diligent, professional, friendly and responsive group of people. They took care of all our needs, regularly putting in catchups the entire run up and made the entire wedding planning process easy. The food tasting was delicious and the food on the day was the best many of our guests had ever had at a wedding - it was beyond amazing. The team on the day, from security to the reception, to accommodation and of course, Annabel and the wedding team were phenomenally helpful and careful to ensure we had the most fantastic day. We can't recommend Ashridge highly enough. It was the absolute wedding of dreams, and we will cherish our photos and videos which will immortalise it forever!

The history, the impressive wow factor, and that it had the amount of rooms we needed ONSITE. We fell in love with it instantly! ALL the staff were amazing and just went above and beyond!

A stunning venue, steeped in history. The house and grounds make for beautiful photos and coming down the staircase makes for a magical and unforgettable start to your marriage. Lovely and helpful staff, delicious food, and able to personalise things to your taste. We even had a golf day then BBQ with games the night before in the conservatory (however as it's a listed building i wasn't allowed for my grooms people to breathe fire as we passed them - fair enough). Accommodation on site for hundreds is a secret superpower to make things easy for you and guests too. So many guests have said they'll never forget our wedding.

My husband and I got married at Ashridge in October and it was breathtaking. The venue is already stunning and with very few extra decorations it took ours and our guests breath away. They accommodated all our requests and it really felt like our wedding the way we wanted it. I don't drink so they provided elderflower presse and mocktails which were great. All our guests loved our venue and the staff both during planning and on the day were spectacular. The process was simple to book and the planning meetings were fun and organised. Our day was perfect.

My husband and I recently got married at Ashridge House on 3rd July 2022. We booked Ashridge House after our previous wedding venue cancelled on us due to Covid and I can honestly say it was meant to be. We had looked at 11 venues previously and had no idea what we would do. We assumed Ashridge House would be too expensive so didn't book to view previously. Ashridge House are so upfront with costs and make it easy to work out unlike so many other venues with adding tax corkage a venue fee and catering fee etc. It's absolutely stunning venue. Our guest were blown away! The food was exceptional also and all the staff are just so wonderful and know exactly what they are doing. It's first class! Ashridge House holds so many memories for us and I recommend anyone to go and check it out - you'll fall in love!

Ashridge house is a beautiful, magical venue that will make you feel like you’re in a fairy-tale. Not only the international guests, but all the locals too were in absolute awe of the place. The team at Ashridge make the whole event go so smoothly and perfectly timed, that it leaves you and your guests in admiration of their professionalism.
The food is delicious and was appreciated by a very international crowd with some guests that are hard to impress.
The whole day felt like perfection and beyond our wildest dreams.
If we could do it all over again, we absolutely would choose Ashridge 100 times again!

Although, this was for a proposal rather than a wedding. Everything went smoothly thanks to Bryher's hard work and attention to detail. She was brilliant from start to finish.
Bryher really helped organise and surprise my then girlfriend and now fiance by going through all details, sending clear updates via email and putting a clear plan together.
Bryher and I also organised a walk-through beforehand and discussed any changes adjustments. These were clearly documented and I felt I was always in good hands.
Bryher also liasied directly with the photographers and florist, saving me having to worry about this side.
Very well organised and I highly recommend working with them and Ashridge house.

Wow. Wedding of our absolute dreams and It doesn’t stop at the breathtakingly beautiful venue, which gets me every time I see it! The team, the food, the chef, the ceremony, just everything, was perfect. We had a black-tie autumn wedding and spent 3 days celebrating at Ashridge and the team couldn’t do enough for us. They made us feel so special, we had a bespoke 5 course wedding breakfast which we designed with the head Chef Paul and our guests still are still talking about the quality of the food and cocktails now. Importantly for us, Ashridge had enough guests rooms and lodges for our full wedding party (100 people) to stay and the chapel and the many rooms in the house meant we could have our full wedding there with no-one needing to travel anywhere. The SPA was an added bonus for all the guests to use over our 3 days and the lodges are lovely for the bridal party and family to stay together. It really was my fairytale dream wedding come true. (And I’d dreamt of that for 36 years ;)
We were allocated Bryher as our wedding coordinator and my goodness she’s so good at what she does- down to the smallest details. We got married on staircase - I’d asvise anyone to do the same- your guests will have never, And will never,’see anything like it again. Magical indeed. Thank you Ashridge, so much!

Ashridge House is the perfect place to get married, for the amazing setting, the delicious food and the outstanding service. We had a small 30 person “COVID” wedding in the Loggia and we couldn’t have dreamt up anything better, we were taken care of the whole way by the fantastic staff, the Chefs and the lovely waiting staff on the day. It’s such a delight that you can also revisit your wedding venue for a dinner or a magical winter wonderland stroll.

We had the most perfect wedding day imaginable at Ashridge. Everything we needed was thoughtfully supported and taken care of, our coordinator was helpful and knowledgeable and the day-of staff couldn’t have been nicer with us and our guests. Our guests loved the gardens and historic feel - oh and the food was incredible.

Absolutely superb experience from start to finish. Setting is stunning, the staff are incredibly helpful in ways we hadn't even considered, and the value is really quite excellent too.
