Additionally, The Queen's Head, a delightful inn in Askham village, provides an extra six bedrooms and the George and Dragon Inn, just a 5-minute drive, features 11 recently renovated luxurious bedrooms, all of which are dog-friendly.

At Askham Hall, you can expect a variety of options for your wedding ceremony, each benefitting from its own natural beauty and charm, allowing you to opt for a civil ceremony or a celebrant-led humanistic wedding on-site. Exchange vows in the enchanting Garden Pavilion, a picturesque backdrop for your promises and photographs. Instead, take a short stroll through the gardens to St. Peter’s Church, a 19th-century gem with a secret gated entrance, or venture up the hill to the majestic 13th-century St. Michael’s Church in Lowther, offering stunning views of Lowther Castle and the surrounding countryside.

Within the grand and romantically rustic Bank Barn, you have the freedom to style your wedding breakfast. Adorned with round or long banqueting tables for up to 150 guests, each setting exudes elegance and is enhanced by ambient lighting, creating the perfect romantic atmosphere for the most special of occasions.
