Aswarby Rectory is a historic wedding venue located in the village of Aswarby, in Lincolnshire, England. This stunning Georgian house was built in 1820 and reopened as a wedding venue in 2018. Today, couples and their guests are invited to experience the warmth and serenity of this quiet country house, far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Rectory is surrounded by nine acres of parkland and private gardens, and the property is connected to the Grade I listed Church of St Denys by means of a private woodland walk. The house and its environs are a charming, picturesque setting in which sweethearts can begin the next chapter of their wonderful love story.

Facilities and Capacity

Aswarby Rectory is available for exclusive hire to ensure that wedding-goers enjoy a private, uninterrupted celebration. The venue includes three sites licensed for civil ceremonies. The main ceremony room, formerly the house kitchens, features a lovely open fireplace. Indoor ceremonies can also be held in the drawing room, which boasts magnificent Georgian windows overlooking the gardens and grounds. During the summer months, outdoor ceremonies can be held in the walled country garden, which features a charming arbour. Each of the three ceremony sites can accommodate up to 80 guests. The Rectory can host 80 daytime guests and up to 120 evening guests. The venue also offers eight cosy bedrooms, including a beautiful bridal suite.
