Always a reference point for pilgrims and wayfarers, in the first half of the 19th century it became a private villa. Today it is possible to dance and toast in its elegant spaces and enjoy a day that will be unforgettable for everyone. The Badia is part of the Heritage of Italian Historic Houses.

Our location, one of the most emblematic wineries in the Chianti Classico region, is characterised by 800 hectares of woods, meadows and centuries-old trees surrounding the former abbey. Inside the Abbey, you will find the main courtyard, the cloister open to daylight and evening light, and our wonderful Italian-style garden. Perfect for organising a unique wedding in the warmer months of the year and having an exceptional photo location.

The romantic, quiet and well-kept indoor rooms are also ideal for a winter wedding.

You can set up beautiful banquets in any season of the year, surrounded by decorations customised for the occasion, in a large space that can be adapted to your needs.

You can organise the civil ceremony in the structure, in the refectory hall characterised by 16th century frescoes. An official of the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti will officiate. For couples wishing to marry in a religious ceremony, there is the church of San Lorenzo a Coltibuono, which is spacious, welcoming and the parish is part of the Badia complex. For the symbolic rite, we put our wonderful Italian-style garden at your disposal.
