Wedding Venues in Banbury

We were let down by our original venue with only one month to go, and I’m so glad we were! I contacted the Green House and Lauren went above and beyond to accommodate us at such short notice. The venue was beautiful and we didn’t need any additional decoration, we had the whole restaurant for our exclusive use which meant that we could relax and enjoy our celebration. We had 20 guests for a sit down meal at lunch time and a total of around 80 guests in the evening. The venue easily accommodated this quantity and we had so many compliments and comments from our guests about the venue and staff, everybody loved it. The food was fantastic, the staff were so friendly and helpful and treated us like royalty, and the whole day was just perfect. We were able to play our own music playlist for the whole day and we also had a live band set up too. The venue is next to the canal which is really picturesque and gives great opportunity for some amazing photos. Car parking was easy for our guests and there is lift access up to the venue. There is also a large chain hotel on the other side of the canal which is great for guest accommodation just a stones throw from the venue. I can’t praise this venue enough, I would definitely recommend it to anybody.

Josie and Marcus's property was a stunningly beautiful and adaptable venue that suited our wedding perfectly. Their knowledge and flexibility supported our plans so well and the whole event went so smoothly - beyond what we had expected. Guests remarked about the venue and were so impressed. The whole family made us feel welcome and at home during setup through to cleanup - and Josie and Marcus were always on hand, helping us troubleshoot and giving super valuable advice. Overnight camping was great and we loved the surprise touches. Breakfast the next morning in the blazing sunshine was above and beyond!

We had an amazing wedding at Wroxton House Hotel. The staff were amazing from start to finish and despite Covid changing our plans they were as flexible as possible and we ended up being absolutely delighted with our Covid safe wedding of 30 guests! Would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

Massive thanks to Lisa and all the staff team, got married yesterday and had afternoon tea for the wedding guests then had the evening reception, everything went smoothly and Lisa and the team couldn't do enough for us. made our day really memorable and great time had by all

Throughout the whole build up, the whole team were there to answer all my crazy questions, and bent over backwards to make my creative visions a reality...even spending nearly 4 hours up some scary looking scaffolding to hang my feather chandelier creations! My husbands favourite Cornish beer was supplied, the food was perfect and everybody has since said it was one of the most fun weddings they have been to. The staff at Dovecote made every effort to make our guests feel totally welcome and comfortable even though we maxed out the capacity and it was raining...I wouldn't change a thing!
