Barn & Farm Wedding Venues in Berkshire

OMG, this venue is really special, because of its quiet location, wonderful setting, it was an excellent day. Driving into the venue was special and when you walk into the Barn. It will take your breath away, Thestaff were very attentive to our requirements and I thought the sandals set out for tired feet were a winner. I do know there were blankets provided but not needed. I would certainly look forward to attending any event here. Lots of photos were taken in the garden, under a flower arch, which was set up, with seating around the garden also, which was great for mingling prior to the wedding breakfast, which was amazing. I was recently a bridesmaid for my sister’s wedding at Rackleys Chiltern Hills and had the joy of being involved with her exciting plans! From the first time my sister viewed this beautiful venue she fell in love with the buildings and the fabulous gardens - it really was stunning. The staff could not have been more helpful from the initial visit to the very end of her big day. They were in regular contact with her and all of our questions were answered, nothing was too much trouble. My sister and her partner were invited to a complimentary food tasting evening and a wine and cheese evening where wines could be sampled and chosen for their wedding breakfast. I hear it was fabulous! On the day, all went according to plan, even the sun was shining! The chef and his team served the most delicious meal which we had so many compliments about and the serving staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we felt well and truly looked after. A big thank you from all of our family for helping to make the day such a success!

Combe Manor is just perfect as a wedding venue, but is made complete by the brilliant Sybille. My now husband and I choose the venue for our wedding in June as it really does offer everything and is set up so well. Also very flexible in accommodating personal choices with caterers etc. Sybille was so good with communication in the months leading up and put her heart and soul into making the day right, and special, and perfect - little touches like bringing toys into the dressing room for my young nephew to play with whilst my sister and I dressed, was so thoughtful. Whilst it wasn't asked for, there was a lovely sense of someone 'holding things together' in the background, covering those unforeseen occurrences like light bulbs going! allowing you enjoy the day. Would recommend to anyone looking for a perfect country-chic wedding with city-slick organisation!

We had the most wonderful day at Stokes Farm. But let me start this review at the beginning. When we started planing for our wedding we really knew that we wanted it to be our day & we had lots of ideas. When we started viewing venues a lot of them were very structured and didn't give the flexibility we wanted. But when we got to Stokes Farm and met Suzanne we knew straight away it was the place for us. We actually viewed for the first time on a dark rainy evening and still loved it straight away. Suzanne and everyone at Stokes farm were just brilliant in the lead up to the wedding. The day before we decorated the barn and from the moment we put up the last bunting I feel we passed everything over to Suzanne and her team and didn't have to think about the running of the day. It was a truly special and brilliant day. The venue was perfect for us relaxed & fun and it looked amazing. We got our own caters in for the meal (hog roast) and Crepe van for the evening meal. Suzanne and her team did the drinks and the bar as well as getting the cake out and serving. We had a lot of our family do things for the day (flowers, cake, ice-cream, decorating) So there was lots of people and ideas involved but Suzanne was able to juggle us all and pulled it off. We just need to have an excuse for another big party at Stokes Farm.

We held our wedding at Ufton Court in May 2014 and had an absolutely brilliant day! Our wedding involved a number of Indian traditions followed by a British style ceremony, then by canapes, drinks and garden games, a wedding breakfast and an evening disco. Ufton Court was an ideal venue for our day. The Tithe Barn and courtyard, alongside the manor house and gardens, provided a beautiful backdrop for our day and there was plenty of room for our 140 guests. The staff at Ufton Court were wonderful; Verity, our wedding coordinator, and her team were really enthusiastic about our plans and put in every effort to make the day run as smoothly as possible. We had a truly amazing wedding day at Ufton Court, and the venue was perfect for us.

We had a fabulous wedding at Heron's Barn, Richie & his team couldn't do enough to help us out both on the day itself and in the lead up to it. From sourcing glasswear to showing our photographer round, nothing was too much trouble. The barn is rustic and beautiful and can be decorated to suit your colour scheme. Both ourselves and some of our guests stayed the night before and the wedding night and the cottages are lovely, full of character and allowed us not to worry about travel on the big day. The food was superb, not a crumb was left over and many of our friends have commented that it was the best wedding food they have ever eaten. We would not hesitate to recommend Richie and his team for your big day, our only regret is that it's now all over and we want to do it again! Kind Regards, Jess

Just a quick note to thank you [Stephanie], Alli, Suzi & all the staff at Sheepdrove for everything you did in making Saturday such an amazing day for Robyn and myself.It is a fantastic venue, and you all worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect. We really appreciated all the attention to detail and the professionalism of everyone at Sheepdrove. If you can let Suzi [Head Chef] know that everyone I spoke to was extremely impressed with the food, I thought the lamb was the best, although I think many would give that position to the deserts. There was a strong consensus that it was the best wedding food that people had eaten. We would particularly like to thank you for everything you did leading up to the event and having to deal with all our questions, queries and changes, you have been fantastic.
