Our wedding was a fairy tale that came true. The venue was absolutely stunning. Just as we had imagined and we have been dreaming for this day for 15 years. Our wedding team Val and Jo did outstanding making every little detail come together. They went above and beyond while planning for the wedding and especially on the wedding day. We were able to relax and enjoy our self with the guests as they made sure they had everything in hand and ran smoothly. We could take everything in which was incredible. The food was delicious 😋 every guests cleared the plates and had no room for cake. Anthony has been a rock throughout the whole process was always available. If it wasn't for him our dream of the perfect wedding wouldn't of come a reality. The barn was so perfect in every way. I honestly was a princess with my prince charming for our special day. The after-party was a real life celebration. We danced until we couldn't feel our feet. The music was so good and made the best atmosphere. We are so glad we went with Tudor barn. They really do make dreams come true.

We recently got married at Notley Tythe Barn and it was just perfect. The teams were brilliant from start to finish. We only had our ceremony there and it didn't feel rushed, there wasn't any stress and it just looks stunning in our wedding photo's. From the first visit i know this was the barn i wanted to get married in.

We have just hosted our 20th Wedding Anniversary - Great location, amazing venue, ambiance was heartwarming, attentive support staff, great communication prior during and post the event, brilliant facilities, sleeping accommodation is as sweet and comfortable as ever. I’d recommend Winters Tale Country Barn to anyone thinking of having a similar event. Most likely to be our future events venue.

If you are after an idyllic countryside wedding venue look no further than Bigstrup farm! We were really impressed with the beautiful barn and surrounding manicured gardens. The managers of the venue went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was extra special and helped make me feel at ease on the big day. Communication was excellent and they were always on hand to help with any of our questions and to ensure the set up went smoothly. Would highly recommend the venue to others.

We'd like to thank you once again for hosting our wedding over our wedding weekend. We couldn't have wished for a better venue!

An unequivocal 5 stars. We've just had a not-wedding at the barn and in the meadow, and it could not have been more perfect. Perfect weather, perfect meadow, perfect barn, and the most congenial and efficient of hosts. That was on the day - in the months leading up to it, Peter offered superb advice and support (without ever being judgemental to our rather eccentric party requirements, or constraining in what we wanted to do) and offered from a huge range of suppliers, helping us to chose the most perfect mix for our requirements.??I cannot recommend either the location, or the host highly enough, and we are already wondering when we can do the same again (a not-wedding anniversary?)

We got married in July in the grounds of Notley out-doors civil ceremony in the dovecot. It was truly exquisite, plus was nice to do something a little different. Food was delicious, service exceptional and the planning made easy by in-house wedding co-ordinater. Only niggle is that the in-house DJ decided to change around some songs and some were of real sentiment - however after pointing it out to him he did play them I'm being very picky. The rooms are great and the history of the place is totally captivating. It has a unique feel to it - unlike other venues which felt as if they were churning wedding parties through them. It feels very relaxed as soon as you step foot in the place. We absolutely loved the Abbey and believe it will quickly become one of Englands top wedding venues - get in there soon before it gets booked up! We're already planning the 10 year wedding anniversary there!! :
