My husband and I recently tied the knot at Minstrel Court, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. From the moment we visited in July, we knew this venue was something special. With two ceremony spaces and two dining areas to choose from (all 4 of which are beautiful!), Minstrel Court also has stunning grounds and a lake which provided the most picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and reception. What truly set Minstrel Court apart for us, was their unparalleled flexibility and commitment to making our dream wedding day a reality. From the moment we expressed interest in the venue, they were incredibly accommodating and supportive of our ideas. Whether it was customizing the layout of our reception space or accommodating special requests, they went above and beyond to ensure that our day was exactly how we envisioned it. From the very beginning, Minstrel Court were transparent with their costs, leaving no room for hidden surprises. This level of honesty and integrity was incredibly refreshing in an industry where transparency can sometimes be lacking. They worked closely with us to ensure that our budget was respected while still delivering a wedding experience that was everything we had dreamt of and more! A huge part of our positive experience at Minstrel Court can be attributed to our wedding planner, Amber. From our initial consultation to the final moments of our wedding day, Amber was a joy to work with. Her impeccable communication skills and attention to detail made the planning process seamless and stress-free. No task was too big or too small for her, and her dedication to making our day perfect was evident every step of the way. In conclusion, Minstrel Court was the perfect venue for our wedding day. We wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple looking for a wedding venue that not only delivers on beauty and service but also operates with flexibility and transparency. We recently had our wedding at Sissons Barn on the 24th June 2023 and it was our dream day, all thanks to the venue and staff at Sissons! Ben, Laura and Scarlett were so helpful from initial enquiry to the day itself and couldn’t do enough for us as a couple and our guests. We went for regular visits and catch ups, had a wine tasting evening which was great fun and they helped us with timings and decorations the day before the wedding. The day itself went without a hitch, all thanks to the team and they kept us calm and made sure we always focused on enjoying our day. Ben drove us around the farm on the tractor on the day of our wedding for some photos which was a great moment for us to relax and take everything in. The grounds are immaculate, lighting is amazing and the service is incredible. Big thank you to Ben, Laura and Scarlett for making sure our day was everything we dreamt of, it’s an incredible venue that is ran by a dedicated team. Thank you again!

It’s difficult to know where to begin. The glorious setting? The historic, characterful buildings? The incredible food? The slick, professional, wonderful staff? The superb planning and quiet background work which made everything so seamless on the day? The feeling of being in the Manor Barn family - the want it to all be perfect as much as we do! (Almost!!). The sumptuous little flat, so invaluable on the day? Simple things, like the beautiful loos? The gorgeous bar? The feeling that your wedding is the best & most important day they could possibly imagine - we never felt like we were just “this weekend’s wedding”!! All simply wonderful!!

“From our very first visit we fell in love with the venue and everyone who worked with us planning our big day. The location speaks for itself but it was the events team who made the day run seamlessly from start to finish. They were very attentive and accommodating. Every single member of the team is a credit to Bassmead. It was a perfect day!"

We chose Childerley not only because of its wonderful charm, but also because of the flexibility it offered for our big day. The beautiful chapel, exceptional gardens and the option of an outdoor ceremony gave us so many ideas, and Jocelyn, Emma and team went out of their way to make our day both unique and memorable. The gardens, grounds and stunning barn are a photographer's paradise! On the day Nick was an absolute superstar. He really helped us to enjoy the day and the whole Childerley team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. We have such fond memories of the day and can't recommend Childerley highly enough!

We looked around a few venues that felt like wedding machines and very impersonal. We wanted to find somewhere that allowed us to make the experience more 'us'. I was so excited when we found The Thatch Barn - it was everything we wanted. It's a beautiful building in a lovely countryside village, a bit different to the norm and with flexibility so it provided us with the chance to really make our reception our own. They are happy to help and recommend suppliers or you can do it all yourselves. Sanchia and the team were so friendly and helpful in the lead up to it and made sure the day ran smoothly. It was also great that we could get into the venue to set up two days before meaning much less stress for me, and you have it booked out for the weekend so you don't feel rushed away because they have to start getting ready for another event. All of our guests commented on what an amazing place it was and asked how I'd found it so I hope this helps other people looking for somewhere like us. We loved it and it really helped make our wedding day even more special and memorable.

The Garden Barn is a beautiful and unique venue and the perfect setting for our wedding reception. So many of our guests were completely ''wowed'' by the barn and it definitely made our wedding all the more special.
